fxuser: I have a problem with huge increase in domestic retail participation that is not commensurate with Foreign and Domestic institutional for the month of June. Read inbetween the line. I hope its not what am thinking. 2 Likes |

stcool: Foreign Portfolio investors are very dangerous. You must follow them bumper to bumper, or else ... Domestic investors outperformed foreign investors by 7.82%. Total domestic transactions increased by 7.53% from N110.42 billion recorded in May 2017 to N118.74 billion in June 2017. Foreign transactions also increased by 6.66% from N95.19 billion to N101.53 billion within the same period. Monthly foreign inflows outpaced outflows. However, foreign inflows decreased by 10.95% from N73.15 billion in May 2017 to N65.93 billion in June 2017 while foreign outflows increased by 38.09% from N22.04 billion in May 2017 to N35.60 billion in June 2017. |

veecovee: To get it right most of the time in NSE, you must watch out for a stock that combines SENTIMENTS and Fundamentals. In most cases another word for SHORT TERM is sentiments while fundamentals stand for LONG TERM. But where you have both raised to power 10, be sure to reap a quick harvest within a matter of days I always believe JIJO works best with sentiments and good where you recognise its trajectory early enough. Be calm! It will get better; how soon is where the main question lies. 1 Like |

veecovee: If I may, I'd say Dangflour ain't going no where until more results are released (hopefully this Q2 will assure the market) or Dangsugar rallies. Any of these conditions may ignite the much awaited rally. I could be wrong. |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Manonamission: 11:25am On Jul 26, 2017 |
fxuser: Speaking of liquidity, don't even attempt JIJO with illiquid stocks like Conoil, MRS, JB et al. Conoil on bid on a daily but no price movement. |

Zhirinovsky: Just be patient. I looked through the financials and I cant but be bullish on the stock. In 2015 and 2016 the dividend received from the subsidiaries are 1.5b and 3.1b respectively. The activities of the subsidiaries in this year alone should not return less than 4b dividend. I suspect that management deliberately did that to accumulate more of the shares. I am heavy here at #3.02 and I am prepared to load more at less than #3. The 50kobo dividend at year end is not unlikely. Just my thoughts, Mr market has its own mind 4 Likes |
