5Kay: Ykjgirls: You can actually... But you might as well be throwing the 15k in the bin as reading is objective unlike writing and speaking that are subjective. So your best bet is to practise more and then retake the test. Goodluck! |

I've been following this thread and I'm really motivated by the response and contributions I get here. Please I want to know my chances and options on my IELTS result LRWS 6, 6.5, 6.5, 6.5 and after calculating my CRS I got 359. Please what are my chances and options. Also, can I combine bank customer service job experience during my nysc and technical sales officer job experience as same NOC for job experience. Thank you guys, I await your response. |

These CIC people just broke my heart. No draws for 3 weeks? So, it's now 1 draw per month? |

balogunsam: You need to check about 20-25 pages back. Someone got PPR with you r same story. She/he made mention (can't remember who now) of using tax clearance receipts, up-to-date payments for company Tax or so...not so sure of all the docs but please check few pages back. I'm sure I read it 3 Likes |

if the applicant is self-employed, articles of incorporation or other evidence of business ownership, evidence of self-employment income and documentation from third-party individuals indicating the service provided along with payment details (self-declared main duties or affidavits are not acceptable proof of self-employed work experience). http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/express/intake-complete.asp It's under the "Proof of work experience" section balogunsam: 2 Likes |

Ykjgirls: I'll advice you apply for a remark in reading of you can wait for 10 weeks and also apply for a new ielts (if you are bouyant enough) just to be on the safe side. |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Nobody: 7:56am On Jul 27, 2017 |
Don4J: You'll have to rewrite ielts. Aim for 8777 and watch your score boost. Just practice practice practice and you'll be fine. 3 Likes |

funshobabs: Visit the following link frequently. They are usually held every other Wednesday (fortnightly) but as you must have read, CIC is unpredictable. There was a time they held it twice in 2 weeks. In fact, there has been a Thursday and a Friday! http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/mi/index.asp 3 Likes |

wapu: Its not advisable to advice for a remark in reading because it is objective and your score won't change. The best bet is to apply for a new IELTS exam. |

Hi again everyone...while looking through the fees and co page on cic website, i found this section and it made me catch cold. Planning to immigrate with a family of three (wife and two kids). I thought principal applicant was $550 but considering i may be applying as a self employed person, does that mean i'll have to pay $1,050 rather than $550 for my application? @eddycross and others, kindly wade in.

Self employment is a bit stressful to prove. You will need to get letters from few of the companies/individuals you have offered services to. However, if you can prove that you have actually done the duties in your nominated NOC, then go ahead. Please find below the information required from you. if the applicant is self-employed, articles of incorporation or other evidence of business ownership, evidence of self-employment income and documentation from third-party individuals indicating the service provided along with payment details (self-declared main duties or affidavits are not acceptable proof of self-employed work experience). This is a different route entirely. The correct fee for those applying under Express Entry is 550CAD application fee and 490CAD right of permanent resident fee for adults. Children only pay 150CAD application fee. balogunsam: 3 Likes 1 Share |

philip3:Good morning brother, got a status update late Tuesday. I just hope we don't have to wait the 20 business days. By the way, WES has transitioned to the new site, a bit more informative now. You are however required to make some edit, so please go through the video link provided. You'd catch the drift. 1 Like |

It looks like the draws are slowing down. It used to be a lot faster that this. Is it that the CIC may have reached their quota for 2017? Does anyone have any idea if they have almost reached the 300,000 PRs to be given this year? |
