JewelStone: That's annoying. I am living comfortably here and I have no intention to become a slave in another man's land. This is just annoying. The application was very very tidy and he list all the documents i provided and said the only reason was evidence of attending previous conference |

Good day to you all, I will advice everyone waiting for visa approval, that after this week if no visa, you should then differ and request your school to give you an updated coe which you will send to DIBP so as to update them. Your school must have cancelled your Coe automatically, DIBp is waiting for further instructions via your school. So don't give yourself HBP oo. It's better you just act now before DIBP put your case for oneside. Just an advice and I have just differed mine till November intake, just waiting for my updated coe by tomorrow latest and I will send it to DIBP asap. Remember we are not the only country waiting for visa, so d earlier you accept the differing the better for you. Thnks 3 Likes |

santity100: You are very right. see the reason given in my case I note that wish to travel to attend the 10th ICVPME 2017 from 4-6 September 2017. I have taken into account that you have not provided evidence of travel to a comparable country for similar international events But this is a clear lie. My Passport shows UAE, Schengen and Japan. In fact the Tokyo trip was for the 9th ICVPME, whilst my application now is for the 10th edition in Sydney. How on earth would he still claim I've never attended a similar international conference? I intend to fight them, they can keep their Visa but the lie that I haven't attended must be fought. He further said Questions About this Decision No further assessment of this visa application can be taken at this office. |

davodyguy: I have read your refusal and i feel for you and I also understand how you feel. That is their way when they dont want to issue their visa even when you meet all the requirements. Australia embassy hardly issue grants to tourist or conference participants from Nigeria and the major reason is because 90 percent do not leave Australia. But in the past they do issue to applicants with your travel experiences. They have chart they keep records of visa issued and applicants that failed to complied with their visas, my brother Nigerians statistic is extremely bad. I will advise you not to reapply as it will show desperation and there is little chance that they will grant. Thank God for their high tuition and assessment level that is helping our students get study grants. |

This Australian Guys are very wicked, they allow schools to collect our dear money ,invested it unto there own economy and begin to lie and deceive us that visa is coming, if it was our country they will say we r very currupt . 1 Like |

santity100: So i have to suffer for others' crimes? I will definitely reapply. The guy never said anything regarding application, whether to or not to. I am not going to Sydney to pick money on the streets. In fact, this trip is costing me N1.5million in air fare, Hotel and conference fee, just for 8 days. That amount can take myself and my wife to dubai for 7 days and back to Nigeria I even attached my personal statements from 3 different banks and the figures are so intimidating. The company's SOA too was so bogus, and scary in size, but i was still refused. I intend to reapply cos we ought to be going in group. 23 of us. 18 opted for group movement/application 5 of us went on a solo level. Out of 5, mine came out today. the other 18 haven't done their bometrics yet, as i type |

sokoto: Very very annoying. The conference fee i paid alone is hmmmmm I want to travel and spend N1.5m for 7 days. Isn't that to their own advantage? |

debby516: Just separately provide previous conference info. These guys are not interested in granting Visas to Nigerians. I over met criteria and presented SOA combined that can buy a house in Banana Island. they still dont care |

diego2015: Thank you. Oya let me quickly do breakdown... I knew how badly I wanted to hear other people’s story. I am a phd student. Medicals 9th June Applied 12th June Biometrics 13th June SOA...7.7m plus CO: 17th July for source of money in my bank. My aunt gave a 4m... and the rest were returns on my mum's (sponsor's) investment. My aunt gave me her means of I.D, marriage cert (since she has changed name from my father's surname), company cac letter (money came from her company) and letter introducing her... what she does... how she is excited about my success so far. We called on 25th... they said they were verifying doc. Resumption was initially 25th July. It has been moved to 28th for me. I should be in school before Monday by God's grace. Visa came out... 27th July... agent sent to me at 3:56pm. I have deferred for 2yrs now. I applied for this course in 2015. Then applied for visa finally in 2017. Thank you everyone! 7 Likes |
