Angry protesters took to the streets of New York City and Washington DC on Wednesday night after the president announced his ban on transgender people serving in the armed forces.

Crowds gathered outside the famed US Army Recruitment center in Times Square with signs bearing slogans including 'resist' and 'rise up' in a show of defiance against the president's announcement.

Others marched on foot outside the White House bearing signs which read 'we're here, we're queer,we hate the f****** president'.

The demonstrations were in response to an announcement he made earlier on Wednesday in which he described the cost of transgender healthcare in the military as a 'burden'.

'After consultation with my Generals and military experts, please be advised that the United States Government will not accept or allow transgender individuals to serve in any capacity in the U.S. Military.

'Our military must be focused on decisive and overwhelming victory and cannot be burdened with the tremendous medical costs and disruption that transgender in the military would entail,' he said.

My position is, looking at the human race in general; if we can have physical birth defects on any part of our body and can even have behavioral defects like madness, but we still believe that God created all these and accommodate and empathize with these people;

Why is it so hard to believe that someone can be created with sexual birth defect i.e. Someone having a sexual outcome that is not among the General norm? And why not accommodate and empathize with these sets as the previous while you keep praying and hoping that God correct their defects miraculously like you do for the previous set?

It is even surprising that, some that call themselves Christians, who probably are alienated from the Christian teachings are led these charge to isolate and ostracize.

Trump hasn't seen anything. He will be shocked to discover that Congress can overturn his Executive Order with the necessary legislation.

'Transgenderism' isn't a clear cut mental disease, and as long as the transgendered military personnel are fit to serve physically and mentally, then I see no reason why they should be barred from serving in the military.

Even the top brass at the Pentagon were shocked by the president's sudden move.

Nonetheless, lawsuits against the president challenging the legality of the EO would likely end in a court victory for the president and the military because the US courts have generally given the military deference in such issues.

Serving in the army is not a human right but a National call for duty, just like a deformed person isnt allowed to serve, same way a deformed mind shouldn't, i think this part of the swamp was properly drained.
