Coolcash1: Yeah, I read one of his mentions where he said he could have sold at N5.50 but that time the result wasnt yet out. Is it now that the result is out that he would now sold to queue up again? That's why I said the decision is his entirely to take. @Loco, not saying you shouldnt caution but the advice just look a bit odd. I leave him to decide on what he does with his holdings. |

Manonamission: That said...let everyone hold unto their shares until you hit your price target, if you have any. I think anyone going into any stock should be prepared for any direction - positive or negative. I always say don't make decisions alone, based on what people talk here. Everyone wants to buy low and sell high. |

A good business model would have edged against this price of wheat for almost one year or more. If price of wheat goes up so the price of flour. This is few manufacturer market in Nigeria. They can easily manipulate price. We buy bread at N400 per loaf what we used to buy N200 or N250 all because of untimely government policy. FX soucing is better now and price still remains high. The margin is abnormal profit. Flour mill Honey well dangote Flour Are set to do well. The environment is their's for now. 6 Likes 1 Share |

sellydion: Exactly, see what Seplat did to hedge price volatility H2 2017. http://www.nse.com.ng/Financial_NewsDocs/18994_SEPLAT_-_HALF-YEAR_JUNE_2017_FINANCIAL_STATEMENTS_JULY_2017.pdf Hedging "The Company had in place dated Brent puts covering a volume of 1.99 MMbbls over H1 2017 at a strike price of US$47.0/bbl resulting in a realised hedging loss of US$10 million in the period. Over H2 2017 the Company has in place dated Brent puts covering a volume of 1.70 MMbbls at a strike price of US$50.0/bbl. The board and management continue to closely monitor prevailing oil market dynamics, and will consider further measures to provide appropriate levels of cash flow assurance in times of oil price weakness and volatility. Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by PharmAlfred: 1:04pm On Jul 27, 2017 |
If the market is rational, Dangflour should at least touch #9 this year. The result should be the best for companies in the same industry. I believe the market will revalue it the moment they pay dividend. Don't take my word for it. Pls ask your financial advisor Meanwhile, the chase for Conoil just started.. Who is chasing here? |
