Teetering way up high about 250m above fields or the ocean, wind turbine technicians are tasked with keeping the giant pieces of kit in check.

Their work involves maintaining, testing and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment and monitoring daily performance.

In 2011, the wind energy industry admitted that 1,500 accidents had taken place on wind farms over a five-year period.

He said he was around 1,500 feet at the time, after he took an elevator to 1,400 feet and climbed the rest of the way.

Imagine someone going to such heights just to fix d thumb of a statue or clean a window. Nigerians would rather leave the windows to b 'naturally' cleaned by rain n they will going up n down crying unemployment because everyone wants to b a doctor or work in an office.
