This is a rare feat! Her appointment is the culmination of years of excellent duty. I have no doubt she will also make a huge success of this role. Congratulations Madam! 1 Like |

YelloweWest: The problem isn't solely Adeosun: Buhari's statist inclinations are a major stumbling block to reforming the economy. Add to that Emefiele's craven acceptance to work within a fixed exchange regime to please Buhari. I agree that Adeosun is intellectually unsound - see her economically illiterate notion that the economy needs a stimulus in the midst of stagflation. But even a competent person cannot work effectively for an inept person. NOI was also tarnished by association with GEJ's government determination to loot and its earlier decision to award bumper pay rises to public sector workers. 6 Likes |

Why does the Nigerian youth always see it important to "tribalise" everything. This is very crazy and repugnant. We should learn to live and enjoy life as these elites are and stop been a failure to self. Am disgusted by this constant show of illiteracy displayed by the Nigerian youth. 1 Like |

IBO and Yoruba should stop fighting on nairaland. Let us face our common enemy, the Hausa/Fulani who don't accept both of us are Nigerians. |

4Play:She was never tarnished! If she was she would not be receiving all these foriegn appointments. She is very competent in her field. Those were just political propaganda by apc to take over power. Nigerian see clearly now that buhari administration has nothing to offer. The corruption they claim to fight is still on the raise. Add to that hyper inflation and the lack of foriegn investments due to uncertainty. I maintain that GEJ'S only crime was being a southerner. If not, so far what good has the buhari admin brought to Nigeria?? 13 Likes 4 Shares |

YelloweWest: You are a slowpoke! So you are attributing Okonjo's appointment to the idiot called Jonathan? It was Buhari that didn't save for rainy day when oil was $100 per barrel and told government officials it is yam they (the goats) are entitled to eat? It is Buhari who has an illiterate wife who can proudly come out to say she made $30m while in government? |

Mrs Iweala ought need not be praised, for working for someone, she is weak and non inspiring. If she is still writing application for employment at her age, what a shame..Uneducated women in Uzoakoli where she got married commands millions, from selling palm oil and its kernel, retired, looking after their grand children. At her age she still answers sir sir sir shivering like sun baked cocoyam leaf clutching files Mrs Iweala you are rubbing shame on the face of graceful ladies of Uzuakoli. |
