What is the take away from this visit if young and aspiring technology enthusiasts from different parts of Nigeria and elsewhere who were not present at the sessions cannot watch the proceedings?

I actually saw this as a good opportunity for us to showcase to the World the emergence of Nigeria as a technology hub in Africa and to put our technology companies like CcHub, Andela etc on the global spot light. And to tell the world that our young people have taken charge of their own lives.

It's unfortunate Nigerians cannot even get to watch the sessions not to talk of the world.

The lack of access is exactly my point. Should it be difficult to access the videos? Why was the event not live-streamed? Should we be begging to access videos from what is supposed to be a launch of products for the public? Or are the celebrities at the event the only ones that will use the products. If you have the video of him speaking at the launch of the products, please share. I don't mean a video of him visiting the Minister.

Did you really read my post? I did not allude to any foreigner solving Nigeria's problems. Has he finished solving Google problems? I am saying that with or without government, a lot of young people in Nigeria have taken their destiny into their hands and what is driving this self-empowerment in the absence of governance is the internet and technology. If the CEO of the leading internet and technology firm is coming to Nigeria, the least they could have done was to live stream the events so that young technology and internet enthusiasts in Nigeria who were not invited will follow the proceedings and be inspired. It is not Omotola or any Nollywood actress that will use those Google products they launched. It is me and you.
