I am sorry if you misunderstand me, I am very very sorry again if you couldnt get the point I made in my last post. For some of you that understand the post I say thank you for your kind in-depth thought that brought out your intellectual firmness and open minded reasoning. For those that didnt understand my post I said I am still very very sorry for saying the simplest truth. You might not really like me as a lady, you might not really like the simple truth because it doesnt favour you, you might not really like someone that stands by the truth, that tells the truth, that wants to be honest, that doesnt like cheating and that doesnt wanna agree with your skewed myopic tendencies because of your ability to gain undue advantage over others. I want to categorically state that the TRUTH IS ALWAYS BITTER, but you must accept it because thats just the truth and I cant give less than that. She that speaks the truth is always an enemy to rumour mongers and adherent liars, cheaters, dishonest people and intellectual sagaciousless, bookishless, reasonless, thougtless, and one dimensional quantum mechanical human.

I am very sorry, not that what I said hurts, but because the truth you dont wanna accept is hurting you, I am sorry for telling you the truth and I am sorry for not saying what you wanna hear. I am sorry for not giving out clue that will put you at advantage against others, I am sorry for not divulging what transpired in the seat of future changer, I am sorry for your lessness as seen above, and I am sorry for repeating what I stood for and believe in.

I have one request to make, yes I mighty be a lady/girl but that doesnt warrant me to allow you to ridicule my academic proficiency, believe and the honest truth because of my gender, just attack my post and win me with superior argument instead of your inferior castigation and back yard back biting.

I am your humble and simple Dr. ELLACITY

I do not think the gender-card is relevant here. Frankly, it isn't relevant in intellectual circles -this is what I presumed you should have known.
No one cares. Like no one cares about your use of English one which, I dare say, I find extremely comical.

asin eh. The thing has tire me on this forum. Any small thing they will call it "being over-religious". Just keeps me wondering if people have any faith in what they believe in or not.

As one of my friends said, "my case is different" myself, I have different case, infact, special, perculiar, n royalhood. I will soon tell my testimony how I overcome!
If you like, tell me am religious, yes, I am religious. It is God, who has power to make me get the scholarship. I need the scholarship to take my career to the next level. Not by strength nor by power but by the Spirit of God.

Soundmind! God still works wonders through Faith! Let everyone hold on to their Faith's, believes and opinions...what works for Paul might not work for peter, but then again Paul plants, Apollo waters but its God that gives the increase....so for those that think people bank only on religion, especially Christianity...guess what...Christianity doesn't preach faith without work.....let's not get it twisted....#mycaseisdifferent

OVERRELIGIOUSITY is one of the reasons why Nigeria is like this. We tend to b illogical and attribute help and problems for God to solve without working and striving for it. Nigerians believe by going to churches and mosques all their problems will b solved thereby making d country lack creativity, innovation and advancement.

We have more religious centres in almost all places with industries only in few selected states. We are the most religious yet the most corrupt cos we are bad with no human feeling. We believe we can get away with any bad deeds by visiting the religious centres and giving alms regularly and pray for forgiveness of God. The so called leader in d religious centre wil pray for u extremely thereby giving u self- contentment and self-worth.

The advanced country has churches and mosques but have many industries in all places. They are fair in judgement and believe in hard work and innovation to achieve success and seek God mercy. There is no difference btw poor and rich in terms of dressing, housing and neccessity things in life. They give their citizens welfare packages and benefits.

Is this not what religious country like Nigeria should do if actually u guys are sincere. Are we not rich enough? Corruption has killed us and even religious centres are propgating them. How can u accept million dollars as religious alms without ask even asking for its source. Majority of Nigerians are hypocrites. The bad leaders we have are reflection of the society.

Nothing is faked except it has an Original. smiley There is always an original version of this religiosity or spirituality as the case may be.

Hello please, I don't know if there's anyone that has come across this; I am applying for the ATAS certificate and somewhere in the Marital Status section, I filled single and tried to go on to the next section but it returns a warning saying I have not filled the name of spouse and other details of spouse.

Yes you can. I have seen past scholars study in both countries. However, things change especially with this new management.

How much stipend do PTDF pay local scholars in a year?
Will PTDF pay the full tuition fee?

From past, I think PTDF local scholars receive laptop and one million naira annually. Usually one to two years for MSc
and three to four years for PhD. I do not know of recent trend.

But I do know that nowadays PTDF seems not to care about local scholars unlike foreign scholars who they pamper.
Since there is change of management, the issue would most likely be resolved. U can further ask "widrics" who was among
those who won last year Local scholarship.

Are u putting accommodation in that amount too? Well, those that left February this year, £750 for accommodation per month, £800 for living expenses per month. There is a one off payment for £500 for laptop, and some other one off payments I can't remember noe.

This time you're wrong the DmainMan because two of my friends got the the scholarship one is doing strategic management and the other is cyber security. The most important thing is to secure the scholarship.
He is not totally wrong actually, its on rare occasion that they accept courses not related to Oil and gas. Your friends are either lucky to be able to really convince them or they somebody that is somebody in house.

The money is calculated in pounds and it has not changed over the years. But if you say the equivalent in naira changes due to changes in forex in policy, then I'll agree.

From all indications there will be a reduction of OSS scholars this year, while there will be a significant increase in LSS scholars this year, that is if the utterances by the ptdf Executive Secretary are anything to go by.

Pls is d LSS 1m given at once or broken down?

Sorry sir, its actually about £1150/month for accommodation and living expenses (stipends for short), £1160 for warm clothings and laptop (one off payment). I think for some parts of the world (I'm sure of London), they receive about £250 more because accommodation there is highly expensive. Payments are made bi-annually i.e. Six months @ a go and twice a year.

The current scholars received £6,600 on two occasions. That's about £1,100/month. The money was paid in bulk. No special allocation for laptops. Return ticket is fully paid for as well. My nigga is a current scholar.

Scholars in London received a little above scholars in other cities as life in London is more expensive.

It has changed in both circumstances.

e.g The minimum living allowance in London and outside London set by UKVI immigration was increased recently hence PTDF had to increase the allowance it gives to meet UKVI immigration requirement for visa purposes. The money u guys received now was more than previous.
