The source confirmed that they would have put out the statement last week but were waiting on four other countries to confirm receipt of their Notice of Rally in Lagos. As of yesterday when the announcement was made, all countries have been dully informed. Some promised they will be sending unannounced representatives to monitor the event. Also confirmed is over 20 foreign media are already in Lagos. The source added that for IPOB to have done the unthinkable to organize the rally in Lagos is a sign of confidence that they have the backing of some powerful countries who have assured them to go ahead.
