The North Playing Osibanjo Like They Did Jonathan. by mekaboy(m): 11:45am On Jul 30, 2017 |
As I watch what is going on in the presidency today, I see the North playing the same games with Osibanjo as they did Jonathan. They started bokoharam, they started attacking. Gej ask elders to intervene, they refused because they were only bombing churches then. Gej decides to apply force, the elders including P. Buhari, say an attack on bokoharam an attack on the North. Bokoharam grows out of control, kidnap chibok girls, they turn around say Gej is weak, chase him out. Today, arewa youths make a declaration which violates the constitution. Osibanjo attempt to take action, they warn of dangers of arresting arewa youths. Osibanjo now withdraws, today arewa youths are giving osibanjo ultimatum. Same trap, and osibanjo have fallen like Gej. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_6E0iYJ9QUs |

LoveDecay: Kanu was arrested and charged to court. Arewa youths should have been arrested and charged as well. You can't have peace without equal right and justice. Now that he has made the mistake of not arresting arewa youths, He has fallen for their trap. The same people he failed to arrest will become his worst nightmare. 4 Likes |

mekaboy: Their is no trap here. Arewa youths made a delaration. All their elders and influencial traditional rulers condemned the garbage in less than 7 days. This shows the north is completely sane. The east however from the Obi of Onitsha to the Governors all have supported Nnamdi Kanu with their silence. Up until the Kaduna declaration when it became obvious that blackmailing Nigeria with Biafra & cessation would not work - especially when it's coming from the east. You now see some half-hearted and unclear proclamations. The truth is that the east is politically weak and it's weakness and ineffective influence has been magnified by the ease at which Ipob has infested your region. Ipob as well suffers from this administrative shortcomings 2 Likes

LoveDecay: Before we forget self determination or referendum is not a crime, so those agitating have not committed any. Asking Nigerians to vacate Nigeria is worse than whatever it is IPOB is doing. It's a clear violation of our constitution, which osibanjo swore to protect. He has no grounds to arrest Kanu today and Arewa will use his mistake of not arresting them against him. He did not arrest Arewa who committed worse than Kanu, how then can he arrest Kanu again. That's a big trap he fell into by listening to the cabal to ignore an act against our Constitution. His hands are tied and the North knows this. That's what has given Arewa youths the power to order him around. Since he did not arrest them, they want to force him to arrest Kanu, so that the injustice will be clear to the world and then he will be blamed for the reaction. They will start misbehaving using Kanu as an example. Once you violate the constitution in a sane country, you pay the price. There is nothing like elders condemning. Is our country governed by the reaction of elders or the constitution? That is the same mistake Gej made, when he would have used force to crush bokoharam, He rather listened to the elders than so what is right. Today, oaibanjo has listened to the same elders instead of the constitution. He is paying for it. 5 Likes |

LoveDecay: My brother , I have seen that you have let sentiments cloud your sense of judgement. Is Nigeria governed by Northern elders or the constitution. Does Any Nigeria have the right to ask any group of Nigerians to vacate any part of Nigeria? Why was there a call for their arrest if they did nothing wrong? Did DSS consult Eastern elders to arrest Kanu? They acted on their conviction that he violated our constitution . But even after the order for arrest, our security agencies under osibanjos watch, had to wait for the decision of the elders. Now that this is the case, osibanjo cannot order the arrest of any group, since he has failed and fallen for the trap of the arewa youths. Our constitution is clear, Gej failed to follow it and followed the Northern elders, He paid for it. Lebanon has failed to follow it and followed the Northern elders, He is paying for it. 2 Likes |

mekaboy: The northern elders have shown regard for the constitution by making sure their children, subjects and allies are working within the constitution. The counter statement by the northern elders have shown that they respect the constitution. The eastern did otherwise. They only tried to invoke the constitution when it was obvious that nnamdi was inching closer to make them powerless. In any case eastern monarch's have always had an anemiac influence . The politicians are most likely the least accomplished and successful in the federal republic Does anybody have a right to say "the zoo must fall", "nigeria is a zoo", "no election in anambra", "kill any awusa or yoruba", "99% of ibo girls are who|res","we need guns and bullets". e.t.c GEJ lost because he listened to easterners. He did not know the east is a political novice. Buhari was defeated twice by PDP till Jonathan. Stop dreaming. You need to wake up. Sit down and read this paper Collier, Paul, and Anke Hoeffler. "Greed and grievance in civil war." Oxford economic papers 56.4 (2004): 563-595. |

LoveDecay: This is where you allow sentiments come in. Kanu chose his part and paid the price. Now the arewa youths have chosen their part by the declaration, instead of them to pay the price, you are talking about their elders and parents countering their statement. Any body can call Nigeria any name and define Nigeria in his or her own words. Aisha buhari used Animals to define, Buhari used the dog and baboons to describe. Buhari called Nigerians corrupt and criminals. All the while Kanu was agitating, interfere with the the activities of non-easterners? Did he ask anyone to leave anywhere? This is exactly the trap I am talking about. When bokoharam started by bombing churches Sunday to Sunday, instead of Gej to take action to crush them, He was listening to what the elders and parents had to say in defense of their children/terrorists. Their children became bolder seing that the constitution has been set aside for them because of their elders support.. Today, the constitution has been set aside by osibanjo for the Arewa youths, because of the same elders. The y have become bold to give osibanjo ultimatum. The same trap, same action by Gej and Osibanjo, same result. 6 Likes |

has anyone wondered why suddenly, Boko Haram has stood on their feet again? is it the same tactic they applied to rubbish GEJ's govt? Are they fully aware that Buhari isn't coming to Ask Rock again, hence let's make his (prof Yemi) supposed government look weak and powerless? But hey! Igbos are Yoruba's problem, let's keep fighting them. I hate writing this, because I still have wonderful friends especially my site foreman, Ayoola who has been like a younger brother. 1 Like |

I pity oaibanjo. The same Arewa youths that should be behind bars, are still saying their notice stands. They can't guaranty safety of Nigerians . The Northern elders have tied osibanjos hands, what's how events unfold. 1 Like |

Northern leaders back and supported bokoharam. Asked GEJ not to use force on them. Later turned round to say he was weak for not defeating bokoharam. Today, it's been made clear that Northern leaders asked the Arewa youths to give quite notice. They have also asked osibanjo not to arrest them. Soon , this same weakness will be used against osibanjo. |

Osibanjo waited for the Arewa youths to pass before he knows hate speech can be treated as terrorism. Always careful to be sure the laws don't catch the northerners before implemented. |

So they want to re-arrest Nnamdi Kanu, and Pastor Yemi osibanjo, that serves the God of justice, can't speak against injustice and double standards? If a pastor can enter ASO Rock, and nothing changes, who then can change Nigeria? |

Osibanjo might hang for his actions and inaction. As the international community gets involved in the Arewa saga, a time will come when PMB will hang it on osibanjo. He will say Osibanjo was the president in Nigeria when it happens, so he will have to answer for it. |
