thats not their (the child's) fault, and just coz someone couldnt fufill a purpose doesnt mean he/she doesnt have...and bout kids dying out of hunger, the parents reproductive organs ought to be removed...they are not responsible...why is it that, it is the child that die of hunger and not them.

An overwhelming amount of research have proven that true development in every modern society is measured by the way and manner the society treats its weak, disabled and vulnerable. The views a lot of people have expressed on this thread regarding disabled people fill me with despair on the future prospects of Nigeria. I could write a whole page on this, but I just don't fancy having a debate with barely-lettered, ignorant 'human beings' that prefer to terminate disabled people. I would much rather enjoy my Sunday beer.

Someone got them there...and for them to leave and become something, somebody will have to help them...so my sister, you should try your utmost to help kids like that...i think our problem here is coz we dont help each other...if we did, there will be less of this

Christopher reeve was never disabled, he had an accident which made him start using a wheelchair.

there is a natural law guiding our life which will continue to remain a mystery. Everyone in a community or society can't be well to do. No matter how u use condom. We still need shoe makers, barbers, road artisans refuse carriers. And who says you will be able to give ur Child the best even when it's just one or two. Planning is good but only God is the master planner. Don't forget there's a mystery called destiny. Some of our class mate in school who are always on top are now struggling to survive the so called back benchers are busy opening filling stations every where.

Firstly, living in Nigeria with a disability is like ordering a barbecue suya from hell but living with disability in countries like Australia and the UK is like living with King Solomon.

The disabled in Nigeria suffer today due to bad government.

A child Charlie was born in the UK a few months ago with disability, his parents tried and raised £1.3 million for him to be treated in the US, the funds came from public donors who support their own, unfortunately the little Charlie has passed on and his parents are left with £1.3mlilion cash.

Everytime a child with a disability is born in a developed country, more resources such as increased funding in R& D is being channeled towards the cure for that ailment, but in Nigeria, you leave them to roam tbe streets, do you know the money the state of Arizona or the borough of kensington spends on one disabled can feed 100 disabled people in Nigeria?

I'm not a fan of poor couples giving birth to countless children cos those kids end up being thst street urchins that terrorise the neighbourhood. And please if you have a child that is disabled its better you give the child up for adoption than putting the child out of his/her "misery".

These are all outliers. Deaf, dumb and blind Helen Keller had her own personal teacher who took the pains and many years to teach her how to speak and write. Her parents moved them to a separate house. They have disabled access in all buildings and public transport in these countries. They give them disability benefits. They can actually afford to have as many children as possible. Einstein's "disability" is still under serious debate. So all disabled people should go and join paralympics that is every 4 years or so? How many games are they playing that they will all join sports events?

What i'm saying is that they didnt rule/cast them off...and the important thing is the individual, like i said earlier, if they dont limit themselves, they can acheive anything with help from the environment

I blame ladies for bringing kids to suffer.. If u insist on condom he will use it or better still use drugs to save d situation..
