No hating. Congrats to her for completing the degree but only one peer review journal at PhD level and in a very active course like chemical and process engineering (SCAPE) is a monumental shame. Well as na Leeds I'm not surprised becos folks do graduate with PhD without having a publication.

It would also be nice to know the reason for featuring her here because these are the same people who are directly and indirectly subjecting their followers up north to mental slavery. You have no idea of her career background, in what capacity she's worked, what she left behind to get a PHd, and what she's coming back to. Let me put @SuperS1Panther's jaundiced narrative in further perspectives and also ask that why are most of the male children of Southern masses not in school but rather put apprentice shop boys when the children of the elites are in foreign schools?

I think we as a people should be decent enough to respect people's way of life and not denigrate it. If a Sultan of Sokoto can educate her girl child up to PHD level, then that should signal a renaissance of the North fully embrasing western education. My concern is that while we wallow in our aggravated arrogantly ignorant views of the north, in about 10years time, the north would have caught up education wise. Think of it this way, the North probably doubles the South 2-1 in population. The day the North has more than 50% of an educated population, not only are they even, the become more educated in number counts. That is when a lot of reality will dawn on a lot of people. SLS has told them to start building more schools. They will soon go on a free education & girl-child education campaign.............

Have we looked at the data for Southerners? Are we have more school enrollment rates? Are we having more drop-out or increase in out of school children? These are things that should be of concern to us rather than trying to put down the North.
