Hepatitis B is fast becoming a Serious health menace in Nigeria and the most recent reports show that Nigeria is highly endemic to Hepatitis B with an estimated 26 million Nigerians currently infected with Hepatitis B. Over 250,000 new infections are recorded yearly in Nigeria. This means that everyone is at risk of this deadly viral disease.
Since there is yet no cure to this disease, the only insurance policy against Hepatitis B is vaccination. Every Nigerian needs to be vaccinated against this Virus.
