Hi Mike,

I think you will be fine. Just submit a letter of explanation along with your ITA submission explaining that your name in your passport was spelt wrongly. Any supporting documents you have to back this up may be useful.

"Given names" means first name and middle name on the IELTS form but you have nothing to worry about cos you'll be given a name correction form on the test day to include your middle name and your results will come out with your full name. I don't have enough experience to answer the other questions so ill leave it to the elders to handle

On your IELTS test day, you will be given a form to update your information (the same happened to me), so make sure you fill in all your names, it will be corrected, if they don't give you, ask for it. The name on your passport is the name that should be on your application (EE profile), the same way it is written on your passport. Go and swear an affidavit for this error, this is for documents where your name is written correctly, so that you can attach it to the important places in your application. You will also provide an explanation. But from what I have seen, your COPR will come out with the names on your passport. On the other hand, why don't you just correct this error, since you are yet to create an EE profile?

Abeg make I ask the elders around. The passport photograph we took for eAPR which was in June can I still use it for PP submission after PPR? I'm thinking since it's not up to 3months hope it won't be a problem

Thanks. That is the problem. I went to the immigration office in Benin and they said there is nothing they can do about it. That I will have to go to Abuja. I've been to abuja and all I get us network error. Pls sir come next month and all. After paying for hotel bills and all cos I don't know anybody in abuja. So I was this.king maybe an affidavit will solve all this wahala. Nigeria sha. The stress is just too much

Dear E-family, finally received the much awaited PPR!

I can't explain my joy.
It has been a very long journey. Entered the pool January 2016 with crs of 432(I think) and got Ontario nomination and accepted because the draw score was quite high then. We submitted Ontario application January our application was finally approved December 2016(one full year). We got ITA December and submitted our application January 2017. AOR 20th January. Got ADR February, submitted and since then status has been not applicable. Ordered GCMS and realized our application was been processed in London. When we completed six months we sent a mail( thanks to greetings for the sample), we got another ADR. This time requesting for military records because my husband mistakenly ticked yes to that NYSC related question. Thanks to ugoiyke79e who responded to someone who also had same issue, we submitted copies of nysc discharge certificate, nysc call up letter and a letter of recommendation from one of officer in charge of the military school (because he served as a teacher in the military school) and a LOE explaining our mistake and stating he didn't serve in military. After submitting, we sent another mail telling them we have submitted the documents they requested for and this afternoon, my husband got a mail for him to check his box and behold, PPR.
I thank God it all ended in praise.
This thread has been so informative and I thank everyone for their contributions. It is very very important to read as you will get answers even before you ask.

PS. The PPR mail didn't indicate where to send passports to, is it strictly Accra? Am I to print the imm form and send alongside the passports?

Not to worry at all.... physical exam is what he did for ma kids.
my daughter was being chatty anyway and so he took the cue and was pointing out letters and objects in d room for her to name.
My son was less chatty.....screamed his lungs out while being examined.
Noting to worry about kids shaaaa......nothing at all.

Please those who paid for Ielts online,is it very fast and reliable?
Also,can my husband pay for both his fees and mine via his Zenith Banking app? If yes,how do we go about it?
We are not paying separately since British Council specified Zenith ,First Bank and GTB as the banks to pay from and,I don't use any of them.
Please kindly advise.
P.S : we want to make the payments now as the deadline for registration is the 5th of Aug.

Your husband can pay for his and urs as well. However, he needs to do it separately. Just follow the instructions sent to you after registering. It easy and convenient. Did same for me and my wifey via my zenith account. You should get confirmation in about 24hrs.
