Why not? They can and I hope they should.
But has the ranking stands, putting every aspect into consideration, the likes of Snapdragon, Exynos and even Kirin are better than MediaTek. I didn't add Apple's chipset because it is not utilized in any android phone.

Nobody is stopping anybody from posting anything. But wisdom is required with the direction things are moving to on this thread, and frankly speaking you are not helping matters.
I myself have complained about the Xiaomi Redmi note 4's camera and I still stand by my own personal observation on the matter. The truth is, this particular phone is better overall compared to phones in its price range. Not just in comparison to the Tecnos, Infinix of this world but against other bigger brand's phone in the same price range.

With your skewed analogy, in no time you will start comparing Tecno and Samsung all in the name of proving a point.

Snapdragon is better than MediaTek, and if I see two phones of comparable spec but fitted with either of the mentioned chipset above, with no much thought I will choose the Snapdragon fitted phone. Why? Because it is the better of the two if all aspects are put into consideration and also money.

Maximum respect to what you've said. But as one earlier writer pointed out, this is the Xiaomi Thread. If other brands appear to be dissed here, it's either because the Xiaomites here are faithfully married to their devices and don't want distractions or that they have sampled the other 'babes' out there and have now settled on their "Naomi" as Numero Uno.
No be all the friends wey you get since you small you still get today. We all move on to newer relationships without prejudice or disrespect to earlier ones. Just that when we outgrow something, we move on.
Xiaomites here have moved on from other relationships and settled down here with like minds to discuss and share on our relationships and how to make the device experience even better.

Didn't need to read the whole epistle before seeing the misconception or should I say trash? How dare you compare a Tecno or Infinix with Xiaomi of the same price, smh well well. The Redmi note 4 mtk sold for less than 60k carry similar hardware as the Tecno phantom 6 plus, do you think we hype here? You talk of snapdragon as overhyped because you use one? OK which snapdragon version do you use and what's the mtk you have used before? Has you mtk ever recorded a temperature as low as 25°c before use?
