Good day Gurus in the house. I want to initiate plan to relocate to Canada using the Express Entry system (Permanent Residence). I am married with two kids, presently working with over 9 years of experience. But the arrangement on ground is for me to relocate first while my wife and two kids (3yrs & 5yrs) will join me after my settling down. I am new on this platform and have reached out to Attorney David Cohen (I am sure most of us knows his firm). The professional fee requested by this firm is rather on the high, $1,990. My enquiries are listed below: 1. Can I initiate the process myself without going through any firm or agent? 2. How do I go about the process from start to finish if i need to do it myself without any agent? 3. If I include my family in the processing, will it increase my chances of getting ITA, noting my wife also works with over 7 years experience. 4. At what point will I go for the IELTS exam? Please help with all the necessary info I may require to start the processing. Thank you ALL |

billy: You do not need any agent for the EE process. U can do it all on your own. Read page 0 here and CIC website to understand what the process entails. All the info u need is here. On a lighter note, if u still need an agent abeg give me half of the money wey Cohen charge I go do a better job for u. 6 Likes |

I would advise that you get someone to do this you. Look for a fingerprint technician and send multiple copies of the fingerprinted form so that the FBI can use the best. nkigirl: |

Congrats to all those that have succeeded already. Congratulations in advance to others who are expecting the good news. I have a question Unfortunately i missed trying this EE thing earlier when i was much younger and i don't know if my chances are gone I'm 34, BSc,5 years experience and wife is B.Sc Is it possible for me to hit a CRS score of 450 considering age and qualification? If yes, what IELTS score will give me that score? If one does not get the high score, can one rely on PNPs? What are the chances to get a nomination? It seems only Ontairo that nominates people I am just confused. I don't know if my chances are very low and whether it will make sense to give it a try. has anyone succeeded with a profile that looks like mine? |

Hello all, Please i need someone who did first and second degree in unilag to help me with this. I just called the transcript office and was made to understand that both my B.Sc and MBA transcript would be sent to WES. I applied for only MBA evaluation and WES has received my certificate. Do i need to send my B.Sc certificate to WES as well? |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Dammiehar(f): 5:50pm On Aug 01, 2017 |
ken4jj: To have a reasonable score, you need a minimum of 8777 in IELTS LRWS. Your wife might also have to write IELTS and assess her BSc to increase your chances. Use this CRS tool to calculate your points, based on your credentials, so that you can have an idea of what you will score. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp |

Guys, I just checked my EE profile and saw a notification of maintenance on the site scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, 2nd August and while looking around to ensure that everything is intact in my profile, I noticed that my status was on 'updated'. and not submitted I viewed my submitted application just to ensure that I don't have anything not transmitted and re-signed my online signature. However, the status is still on 'updated' and more worrisome, I also saw a notification that says 'Continue my profile / application, not yet submitted' Is this normal? I'm getting really worried, being that there might be a draw tomorrow. |
