ND Oil? Lagos? in the same sentence lol.
South Easterners don't eve pay tax in Lagos lol. Those 2*2 shops evade tax like crazy. Big businesses in Lagos pay tax, not hawkers and small scale retailers like Igbos.

..SWs and empty noise-making/cheap grandstanding are like 5 and 6....see them taking the glory for Lagos..Meanwhile apart from Lagos, other parts of SW are a cesspit and glorified villages.

..As usual, according to them ,they single-handedly made Lagos what it is today, contributing all the taxes made there, while SEs are 'parasitic'..Ironical SE who have 'nothing' are the ones fighting to be from SW as one country.

..Tell them to have their oduduwa republic now and all hell will break loose as they display their fears and aprehensions..

..Very funny people indeed.

Abeg Mechionu.
Oyo and Ogun states are the second or third largest non oil GDP in Nigeria after Lagos. It is between one of both, we still arent sure because Oyo used t be number 2, but Ogun has risen profoundly of recent.
What do you mean how many people in Oyo or Ogun can boast of a disposable income, Lmao. The SW remains farrr richer than your SE region no matter how you want to dice it, be it Bulk GDP, Disposable income, Number of Rich people, State generated incomes, Multidimensional poverty, etc. Data has shown that the SE consistently remains the poorest region in the South of Nigeria as provided by several Global and National indices over years..

And another:

Many well to do Igbos live in Lagos. It'll be interesting to have this data based on state of origin.

Kemi Adeosun got it right when she stated that States should do more to generate internal revenue than run to FG every month to share money. This FAAC thing has made governors so lazy. They do nothing but sit idly waiting for the month to end.

Lagos is at 55% but Abuja is the real MVP. With six times less the population of Lagos, it has less than three times the amount of VAT. Basically Nigeria is getting the most VAT/Capita in Abuja. Makes sense that the former capital of the country is up there too.

Mumu, My grandpa has this apartment complex in Surulere which he rents out. The place is filled with squalid igbos from the east who live like rats, 20 in a room.
They no even let the old man renovate the place because there would be nowhere for them to stay in that time period.
And they don't even pay rent! And it is that same set of people that will come online to make noise. grin angry

Igbos, Go back to Enugu and Anambara.

what you see in Lagos is not what Yoruba contribute alone, igbo and other tribe made Lagos a huge success.

FG knows what they are doing, they should create port in Warri and PH and see how Lagos becomes broke. instead of mocking SE why not think of way to improve the academic activities of the region I. e by suggesting a port that will be close to the region and see how fast they develop.

u people make me laff let's take away seaport airport and all multiple oil national companies in lagos them u can till me another story
Two ignorant Otondos. Let me school your arses a little grin

Lagos generated a total of 436 billion naira in 2016. The total oil money allocation to Lagos for the whole of 2016 was 178 billion naira. 436 - 178 (billion) = 258 billion. Can you now see that Lagos can survive without your oyel money, and not to mention that oil has been discovered in Badagry which makes Lagos an oil-producing state. grin

And yeebos don't own shit in commerce, we're talking about real businesses and not 2x2 shops or fanyogo hawkers. Can't wait for you to get your useless Biafra, we'll deport y'all flat heads back to your lands. Only then will you realise you're parasites and the SW is your host, you can't survive without us. grin

Who are they and what are their companies? Name 20 companies owned by igbos that generate more than $1m revenue per year [20 out of thousands of ibos living in lagos]

Most Ibos living in Lagos are fanyogo sellers and 2x2 shop traders. They don't pay taxes.
