Its coming to a point where some involve their pastors to predict this NSE grin cheesy grin cheesy

And that would ve like asking the weather forcaster to tell the weather and he says the weather is not clear enough for him to make proper forcast grin

I fear the way some stocks with sound fundamentals are being punished in this market embarassed

From this point it can only get better in ucap (by God's grace though)
Had it been you priced it atleast N3.60k I would had been tempted to supply my few.
DeRuggedProf:

You are among those refusing to supply abi?
I have been doing my best to persuade you guys to increase the interest rate here by bending the branch for me to climb but you are refusing.. grin
UCAP and Afriprud is where we have opened our savings account since the interest rate became a punishment in formal banks..... grin

If you are conversant with a rice mill area, you will notice that after setting fire on the mountain of chaff during dry season, it keeps burning intensely underneath late into the very heart of the rainy season.
An inexperienced person feels that since it is rainy season the fire has completely quenched, only to step on it and discover later in hospital that help is not always close... grin

When you start seeing companies like DAAR releasing results on time, know that someone is getting broke and smelling prey.... grin

Hi fxuser, BullBearMkt and other technical analysts I would appreciate your answer to this question.

If after a sustained uptrend in a stock price you have like 3 or 4 successive days of bearish candles is there a way to determin at that point if this is the start of a bear run or just the forming of a flag formation from which the price should naturally rally after the completion of the flag formation?

Especially if the bearish pressure started at a previously unidentified resistance zone and there was no reversal pattern like an inverted hammer/shooting star?

I am ready to sell the ones I bought today even @N3.48 sef. Time still dey far.... grin
No time for heavy expectations now... grin

I did my best today. Reduced some ANNOYING OFFERS between N3.00 - N3.02 for my 'saving account' purpose.
Una no give me the ones I spread between N2.96-N2.98.
Someone got at N2.99, but not me. I must have blinked then.
I prefer hovering and pouncing than giving the market a BID to make things difficult for me, EXCEPT in peculiar instances... grin.

You did well. It should leave that range before the end of the week ( by God's grace though).
Thankfully that person that always post an offer of a little over 3 million units at N3.12k to scare the market didn't open shop today.

My risk in Fidelity is well calculated...Watch the surprise the bank would pull with possibility of an interim dividend from audited Q2.
Getting Fidelity is a give away below N1.50 thank me later. Study their books. They are meticulous.

The manipulation in this NSE is something else.
When I wanted to buy dangsugar this morning, the least offer was above 13 naira and was even drying up. I placed my bid @12.6 I checked backed later and saw the stock selling for less than 12. shocked
To my greatest surprise it closed at 12.59. I was planning to add more tomorrow.

Did Nestle and Ci leasing declare interim dividend? Dividend date?

Volume
Decreasing volume with a sudden spike in volume at breakout- flag formation.

If the bearish candles are coming with Increasing volume - bear run.

nice one

IMO ..
- shares alwayz return to their respected trend line
- or they may retest a prev support on d weekly or daily chart
- or u may hav to wait for the shares to close above d most recent daily high or preferably weekly high to confir, rest or pull back (prfot taking is exhausted )
- this ur example can be likened to GTB
- worst case if its a share that d 50dma > 200dma , a retest of d 50 is expected

true that : increasing volume esp above avg vol back to back is a different matter if the candles are all opening lower also !

Mine was kind of funny...seeing that I couldn't enter on Monday at N11.47, I placed my bid during pre-market at 12.56. Minutes after trading started I saw that my order has been filled... I was happy.. grin

However, the joy was short lived as I later realized that the price was falling so fast... faster that it entered my stop loss, 11.59 then I knew I had to take a quick decision... Of course, yours truly had to JO.. grin

Thereafter again I noticed that sellers refused to go below the 11.59 and gradually the bid was growing...Immediately this was noticed, I re-entered at 12.03 and went away saying to myself that whatever happens thereafter I will accept it...However, I was happy to see that it closed high yesterday .... grin
