Back to topic, why still rice pyramids in this age of wharehousing?

This is still done everywhere in the world.
Warehousing usually happens when the next level of grain or produce processing commences.
These farmers want to sell off and won't have added cost of warehousing and transportation inclusive.

No. Our region is the SS, yours is the SE. There is a difference.

Don't mind those hypocritical Igbos. When Ibe Kachikwu was appointed, they were the ones against his appointment claiming he's not an Igbo man.

Now, they are lumping SS with their miserable Biafra.

After attending the policy synergy parley with Apc governors and commissioning the Wacot rice mill in Kebbi, the acting president Prof. Yemi Osinbajo attended a mini Agricultural show where Agricultural potential of the state is to be showcased.

The seeds and food produce grown in the state shown to the visiting acting president include potato, millet, rice, soyabean, sugarcane, groundnut cake, cattle oil e.t.c. Giant tillapias and huge cows were also displayed as well as a rice pyramid.
That's not tilapia dude

The first lady of the state Hajiya Zainab Shinkafi Bagudu whose facebook page handlers share the photos wrote this message about Kebbi state:

"WITH A LAND MASS OF OVER 923, 000km2 AND OVER 78% OF IT ARABLE, LAND IS OUR GREATEST ASSET. THE AGRICULTURAL POTENTIAL OF NIGERIA AND KEBBI IS VAST. LET US CLAIM IT."

And for those who commit sucide, no be small thing, the condition has eaten their brain to make them believe that death is the true situation where u can find peace.

For a country to be richly blessed, its citizens must be of good quality. food and natural resources does not make a country blessed!

Nigeria has one of the most stupid, primitive, backward citizens on earth - it is not richly blessed!

Finland (for example) does not have oil and other resources you call "richly blessed" but the commonsense of its citizens has made the country richly blessed from nothing!

ok

Who between Hausa and Igbo are the lazy tribes now? decide yourself from the happens with Nigerians all over the world and historical accounts as we have them. You see why Yorubas trust and like Hausas more than the short cut finding, money loving, Igbo powder sellers with no tangible collective sense of communion except I Before the Others (IBO) attitude. Didn't we see it in this inordinate restive agitations by Nnamdi Kanu and his IPOB moronic miscreants? Mine is, let this igbos leave, after all they are the major bane to our collective franchise in Nigeria. ....and when they leave, it will be good riddance to bad rubbish. Lobatan.

Is this a pyramid of rice. The layers are not even up to 20. This is far smaller than the groundnut pyramids of Kano in 1960's. This rice cant even feed the people in kebbi. How many trailer loads is this rice. Can't be up to 20. If these rice enter kebbi market it can't last 2 days. I wonder where the company will enough grains to run at full capacity. A ship load of rice can discharge just 40 trailers per day and it takes about 3 weeks to discharge completely. Nigeria is still very far from self sufficiency in rice production so all this scam of rice sufficiency is not going to cut it. We need to systematically to increase our rice production capacity gradually cause this agriculture that depends on climate and soil. A timeline of 10 years increment in production should first be pursued while gradually increasing tax to discourage importation and encourage local production.
As per the fish it's definitely not tilapia cause can never grow to such size in the wild. It is however a member of cichilead family.
