lifting crude from the well is purely mechanical. Like I said you use electrical power for separations, monitoring and all that. You can get products from a well without electrical power. That was what I said and it remains that.

Brother you can't.
I won't exchange words with you further on this cos I can see you are all in to contradict ur every statement just to maintain ur stand. It is good to maintain ones stand but it is wiser to take corrections. No man is an Island of knowledge, we learn everyday bro.

I rest my case

electrical power might or might not be needed for production. It actually depends on subsurface formation pressure (reservior pressure). Now when the reservior pressure is high enough, production is possible via pressure differential, what could be controlled electrically in the wellbore are things like subsurface chokes, valves, and the likes. On the other hand, when reservior pressure is low initially or when there is a natural depletion of a reservior which once had sufficient pressure for natural production, secondary recovery methods are employed, which could be the use of submersible pumps which is controlled electrically.

ignorant people everywhere. You don't need any machine to lift crude. It's a mechanical process. It is a pressure work. The pressure of the well pushes the oil up. There are various tools installed during a completion process that aid crude oil pumping to the surface. When a well does not have enough reservoir pressure, an artificial lift system is installed. If you have a straw, do you need electricity to suck from your cup... No, it's al pressure. That same way it works. Stop assuming everyone is on your level. You are talking to an experienced individual. Read on completions, well testing and drill stem testing. Production is purely mechanical.

Now I see your level of thinking. Do u think u re the only experienced person here?. Lols. Like I said I won't exchange words with u further on this.

tell me what tools , equipment you power with electricity. You ar a very ignorant person! It remains that. Mention the tools. Tell me where your expertise lies. Production from a well is pu mechanical. Ask professionals around you.

Artifical lift system could be electrical or hydraulic... electrical could be batteries or solar.

Artifical lift system could be electrical or hydraulic... electrical could be batteries or solar. Given the normal circumstance, pls answer, I see that you are well informed, do you require electricity?

sure, artificial lift system could use hydraulic pumps . Another type of secondary recovery that does not even require pumping the hydrocarbon out is gas lift. Also, Enhanced recovery methods like polymer flooding or in-situ combustion does not even have anything to do with pumping hydrocarbon out.

Hoping it should be this month. But first shortlisting must take place, then test/interview.

Errmm, alot of connected peeps here. Please, make Una help connect a brother Na grin. I just need my CV in the right places, I know some companies in the O&G industry run their recruitment in house and only those fortunate to have their cvs or names forwarded appropriately can be in the running to fill the position.

At this juncture, I nor fit afford to close mouth- age is climbing fast.

Na now eye just dey clear about the importance of networking. Mehn!! It's really frustrating when you have a lean network angry
