Deepwater and majekdom, I'm forced to say that you both are the most childish adults I've seen in my lifetime. You go about every entry level thread arguing about knowledge of oil nd gas and claiming experienced.
I'm not disputing the fact that you know or that you're experienced but if everyone who knew as much you both do act like this, we'll never make a headway with any thread on nl. Or you think you both are the only ones who know stuff about the oil industry??
You both should grow up already.
I wonder how you even have so much time to banter online considering you're supposedly 'gainfully' employed, your employer probably isn't making you work hard enough for your money.
If a child is acting like a child, an adult doesn't have to decide to follow suit.
I had to say this cos I'm really tired of seeing both of you's argument littered all over nl, where we're looking for reasonable info.
Lemme goan sleep in peace now.

Sorry dear, it is very painful to see people with little knowledge speak authoritatively on a subject matter you break bread from. It would be a cold day in hell whenever i keep quiet and let people rubbish my profession, that is why i am a professional, to clear doubts where necessary on such subject matter. people come here for knowledge and the worst is to give them academic poison. Majek is found of calling people ignorant at will for no reason, without knowing he sounds more ignorant to people who know. You see i got my first opening through a job board like this by one moniker (Godbless you OILANDGASSHOPPER ) who took it upon herself to correct wrongs and give correct information. Information itself is king undecided

By the way, FYI people work in shifts, i spend have of the year working and the remaining half resting, so my heavy presence on NL. grin

deepwater:

Young man, you are a disgrace to your so called profession, you go about every thread about graduate trainee positions on Nairaland and distort the peace therein then start claiming Mr. Experience and calling people ignorant.

How can you produce a well without well control? How can you control a well without electrical power/energy?

Guy are you who you truly claim to be?
Have you worked with ESP's before?
That apart, how do you think production parameters are being measured in today wells??

Have you been behind a deepwater Xmas tree control console?? OMG! What kind of training have you received to make such a huge and quick generalization?

I know you problem, you have been reading alot, I would rather advise that you change your books and pick up modern texts. At this rate you spill garbage, It is obvious you are just a simple wannabe, always contradicting yourself in every argument. Same way u where just talking trash on the shell thread about marine. Niggar whenever you mention deepwater, I would be there to clear you doubts for real.

BTW I saw your thread on the deepwater horizon, FYI I was on the deepwater discovery (DWD) when that sheet happened. So u don't call me ignorant cool

artificial lift is not a secondary recovery cause you still using the natural energy present in the reservoir, since the reservoir fluid cannot get to the surface artificial lift reduce the bottom hole flowing pressure increasing draw down secondary recovery increase the reservoir pressure few are water and gas injection

Oga, we are not in class, i was using the term ''secondary'' loosely Considering the fact that artificial lift is not primary recovery,i know artificial lift is not secondary recovery. You didn't have to quote me in order to show you know ''what's up'' too. Back to the thread please.

Bros,

How far you na? Stop with all the insults and counter-arguments. It is really getting annoying,

I know the level of experience you have, so respect deepwater when she speaks. You guys should stick to the name of this thread or you won't be able to comment again.

majekdom2:
.

Iya,

You can actually speak without insulting, and try to contribute to this thread, not showing off who has more experience or what-not.

Then again, you can't know all in the industry, so value other people's opinion. The First Locally made Christmas Tree was designed by a Nairalander (Works in Total) and he does not argue with people.

Some people see the good side of arguments/debates without brags, some people see it as show off of knowledge or being arrogant. Each participant of the thread know where they belong. I wouldn't want to say the latter suffer from complex and esteem issues. cry there will always be people a this. Our diversity makes us unique. With my experience with recruitment exercises and Job threads on NL, There is always limited info about the recruitment process. Moreso, limited info that can boost one's performance during assessment. I understand the enthusiasm of many applicants, sadly, your enthusiasm has limited ability to hasten or make the process go your way. Overtime, helpful information are the company's activities and industry activities and when some come like what ensued, there is sometime some conflict which many see as unnecessary. Some take this personal too. Someone mentioned exhibition. I was about to mention the exhibition has nothing to do with the recruitment. They only exhibited at NAICE, just as many other companies did. Thats one platform to get associate with contacts that can get one jobs in the industry. If I did, some may have said it's "show off". Oh well, the informed and experienced in most situations know the importance of conflict.
Majek, is no arrogant, ignorant, insultive or stubborn fellow. He is only a resourceful individual that prides himself on his little knowledge, experience and skills in different aspect of life.
Deepwater, I wouldn't mind adding you to my network perhaps we can have lunch sometime if you are beautiful and light skinned grin . My boss still learns from me, I am still learning. You may have the experience and knowledge I don't have but that's in your Niche. There is someone somewhere whose knowledge is different from yours and coming from a different background. It's always good when you understand mentions are not to discredit you but only a different line of thoughts.

Seriously serious? That's not true, it was sent to people to update their information on the website. I beg to disagree with your view.

Bro u'll need a new profile. I tried to change mine too, ended up creating a new profile and deleting the other. You know me. Met at EY with 2 ladies present; just using a different profile now. EY wasn't successful.
