telling us about the pain of the war as if he experienced it.are nigeria still not fight war against igbos even after the 1970.when peaceful protesters are killed because they are igbos, is that not war.all i know is the zoo will go down.

Everything is not about Igbos all the time

Followers of El Sakzaky were also murdered in their numbers, so, the killing of some IPOB protesters isn't about tribe but the fallings of our government and leaders.

During the time of Obasanjo, a whole town was attacked (Odi).

All this politically correct talk just makes my skin cringe.

Nigeria has refused to rediscuss issues of the last civil war and make apologies and restitution where necessary. That is the only way forward cos the wounds of that war never really healed!

Talking about loving this country, how do you expect me to love a country where I can be killed for the flimsiest of reasons just cos I'm not a northern Muslim and my killers will never be apprehended cos they are the sacred cows in this unholy contraption?

We don't want to face hard truths in this country and it's unimaginably sad.

This how the hate speech started. In 2014, when Buhari indicated his interest to contest for the presidency again, he was asked how he hoped to woo Igbo voters considering his role during the war. Fielding the question on BBC Hausa service monitored in Kaduna, he noted that “the Igbo’s hate him for what happened during the Biafra war’. He went further to say, “I don’t have any regret, and at such do not owe any apology to them, in fact if there is a repeat of the civil war again, I will kill more Igbo’s to save the country”.

The hate speeches can be attributed to both parties and most Nigerians.

That is correct, but at the end of the day, someone, something, some persons, encouraged it.

You cannot force people to love a country they don't want to be part of.

Until you and the rest of your greedy politicians get that info your head, you'll continue hearing the calls of division and "hate speech".

Get it through your fucking head.

Even God is tired of your one niggeria that's why he let it rot to the ground despite the overly religious fanatics in that country praying everyday.

Well, the country has to merit the love in the first place.

“The witnesses of the horrors of war will not wish it
on their worst enemies. Even recalling it may bring
back the trauma of that period. The mental and
physical scars of war are sometimes so deep that
rational thought of something is impugned.

Relying on this, I urge the FG to grant IPOB their demand for secession bearing in mind the devastating effect of cohabiting with someone whom you fought with, who after the fight have refused to true acceptance. who keeps treating you as an outcast.
The FG should also play their expected role in ensuring that they did not create avenue for the promotion of hate speeches. I say this with reference to their inability to arrest and prosecute those Arewa youth that threatened brimstone against Ibos in their territory.
Such threat from Arewa youths is capable of causing genocide yet FG foot dragging making the other section the nurse I'll feelings.

Am not asking you to support One Nigeria but just saying that all Nigerians suffer for our ineffective leaders.

You talked about rebuilding the North East, is the North as a whole any better than the East??

And talking about bringing any federal project to the East, if the South East governors can work diligently for the growth of the region, I can assure you there's potential of being the best part of Nigeria.

Other places with federal projects, are they any better than the East??

On the surface you post appears sound. However infrastructure development in the south east is not completely in the remit of the governors. Legally a large chunk is under the federal government. This provision made it possible for the deliberate neglect inflicted on the Igbo. That is why the powers that be want to stick to the present system so they can determine what happened even in the remotest parts of Nigeria from Abuja. Just like planning a rail network and ignoring the south east. Same for the gas master plan.
