https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-08-02/nigeria-moves-closer-to-single-naira-rate-as-banks-adopt-nafex

This could also mean more fx gains for banks ie from official rate of 306/$ to 366/$. Am I correct?

Good thinking

However in terms of overall stock market impact. i think the news while substantial is not as tectonic shifting as the April opening of the Nafex window.

the next news that cld be as tectonic as that is absolute unification of all fx rates

or Ogas in the house what do u think

@Deruggedprof, fxuser and all okomu or presco which would you hit buy on?
I analyse that since Presco has a higher EPS of N5+ compared to Okomu of N3+...Pls advise...

Presco / Okomu
- both pulling back on d monthly and weekly !
- both falling back within last week range
- typical rest behaviour after a surge

. With the latest result, i will pick okomu over presco.
. q on q . okomu did better in q2
. traditionally, q2 is suppose to present the strongest earnings.
. presco earnings in q2 is less than that of q1
. entry point is the joker if one can get it right.
