Thanks. I need this optimism. It's a little frustrating to keep missing ITAs by so little margins.

calfy:

The CRS will certainly drop. It's where it is today because of people like us that got provincial nomination. Ontario gave out a lot of provincial nomination this month and that affected the score. But, if you check the analysis by IRCC, you will see that now that the provincial nominees have been awarded ITA, the next one will certainly drop. I am guessing to around 432 or below and you will be covered. See link below for the analysis.

no one can really tell you this. its at the sole discretion of CIC. though from their website (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/past-rounds.asp) you will notice that this year the draw has gone as low as 413.
yimiton:
Good morning guys, I know my question is a bit far fetched but does anyone think CRS that will be given ITA will ever fall below 440 again?

I have 438 points and missed ITA twice, so I just registered to retake IELTS with the hope of getting the highest possible scores in all 4. I currently have L8, W7, R7, S7.5 With one more point in reading and half a point in the other 2, I should get better points.

However, it will be nice to know if you guys think that the required CRS points will drop in subsequent draws.

Congrats to all the ITAs!!

Can one do medicals before ITA? What if the principal applicants gets pregnant before ITA will she be able to do medicals (considering the chest xray part) or does it mean she will have to wait to do medicals after the baby is born

Your suggestions please ooo

Yes u can, but it's best u do it after ITA or preferably before application submission. This is cos the visa validity is tied to ur meds validity.

Ps: oga u wan knack madam sharp sharp, wait small na, y ur blood dey hot winkgrin

In as much as it is upfront medicals that's done for express entry, it is not advisable to do it before ITa, it is best to do it close to the submission of your application after getting an ITa and if you are pregnant there's nothing to worry about, the hospital will give you a shield to protect your baby.

Thanks alot. Dint know about the shield. Nice one.

goodday everyone
please is it necessary to put all my funds in one bank account ahead of time or wait till I get ITA then consolidate my funds into one bank account.
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by AZeD1(m): 2:09pm On Aug 03, 2017
You don't need to put all your funds in one account. You are supposed to submit letters from all accounts.

Thanks a lot bro, I appreciate your concern. Mummyjaygirls actually did the magic. She went to BC on my behalf and even before she told me she did, BC had sent me an acknowledgement mail. Many thanks to her.
I'll so check out your suggestions. That's one of the reasons I booked 30th September, I'll have more than enough time to prepare well.
Bro, ieltsbuddy and ieltsliz it is! You can't go wrong! Then Download samples from page 74 of preparing to take ielts thread! This is the tested combo!

Hello everyone, its a shame people dont read up when they want to start this Canadian process...
this is for people that are contacting David Cohen Law firms, i did state my experience with them in the previous pages i think 523 or SO.
If you have paid half of the fees please terminate the contract, and if you are thinking of using them look for my previous post by searching.
A word is enough for the wise..
You can do it.. successfully by yourself....
take time read up and gather information..

See info below (BGC - is Background Check)

Stages in Canadian PR journey

1st the profile
2nd is ITA
3rd is AOR
4th medicals
5th background
6th ppr
7th COPR
8th landing
9th pr card
=======================

These are 3 different stages that majority of the PR applicants in EE will see against Background check in My CIC.

IP1
--------
IP1 will be shown when we pass the medical. Some people get this update on the same day along with their medical and some of them couple of days after. CIC agents will do R10, criminality checks during this stage. Once they feel everything is good then they will change it to NA. These things will happen at CIO Office (Centralized Intake Office)

NA
---------
This stage, our file will be transferred to CPC (Case processing Center) where agents will do eligibility assessments. If they feel everything is okay, then they will provide their recommendation to Visa Officer and same time they will initiate Security Checks.

IP2
--------
This status will be seen in my CIC account once Visa Officer starts reviewing or after reviewing all agents recommendations. On the same day PPR request will be triggered if the applicant paid RPRF upfront. These things will be done at CPC office.

It is not necessary that every applicant will undergo this process. But majority of the cases, I have noticed the same status

Copied

The candidate or his or her spouse/common-law partner must share a mother and/or father with the sibling in Canada. This relationship can be through blood, adoption, marriage, or common-law partnership.
