Mrchippychappy: Another weary way to detect a fool! I can bet you never read the whole stuff! Anyway I can't blame you, it's your myopic way of reasoning that becloud your thinking faculty. Go back and ask your father or grand father (if he's still alive) the real jist about the war, u will understand clearly that it would have been better, Ojukwu listened to Banjo's advice then. Up till his death, I mean Ojukwu: he still regretted not following the advice of Banjo, he has privately met with the latter's family to tender an unreserved apologies, not once but countless time. Okoyiboz3:Lol,you dimwit, now who's calculating??, War is war, Nothing glorious ,the only count is lives,of which the Nigerians lost a lot for each km they gained, and even till the end didn't entirely complete their ''police action''.in fact the nigerians lost way more combatants that the enemy whose major loss were in civilian lives.nothing glorious, just facts.so stop glamourzing war like it's a video game. |

Okoyiboz3:Lol! Intellectual? What's intellectual in a Yoruba man opening a NL account, claiming Igbo, just to pitch Igbos against each other? More like treacherous genetic imprint. Afonja won no battles, except against his fellow weak Yoruba men. 4 Likes |

All details of incidents that happened before, during ad after the coup has been taken down . Wikipedia initially gave accounts of coups including details of how Ahmadu bello was killed and so many interesting details, all has recently been taken down and remodified 2 Likes |

I don't know where you are from, but sentiments will always make you people to rope nzeogwu and attach him by force as an Igbo man. Your hatred for Igbo's even make most of you to erase the intricate parts of the civil war history. |

Modsenemy: Kanu can't be the president of Nigeria, he operates at a higher level to stoop that low. You mean the people whose ruler is a sick old illiterate with No WAEC result? The ruler of monkeys and Baboons? The Morons are the ones who elected an old dying illiterate to lead a failed British experiment. Kanu remain your headaches. You have nothing on him. 3 Likes |

nkemdi89:A number of people on this thread have corrected your false assertions that Nzeogwu was not an Igbo man. Yet, you persist in recycling the same piece of falsehood, over and over again instead of accepting correction. Ok, now I said he was a Zimbabwean, and you are getting annoyed. Should I have told you that he was Liberian or Congolese? Would that have made you happy? 9 Likes 1 Share |

Modsenemy: Lol! Afonjas obsession with Kanu and Biafra, and loathe for Oduduwa Republic and even their fellow Yorubas that dare champion it is legendary. "Kanu will rot in prison"! Kanu Now walks free "Kanu will be arrested if found in a crowd"! Kanu pulls crowd up and down "Kanu is a noise maker, Biafra is dead" ! Yet they spend 24-7 on Kanu and Biafra matter "We don't hate Igbos, we just hate Igbos"! The North issues threat on Igbos in the North, and Afonjas were all over the internet rejoicing! The life and times of an average Afonja. 6 Likes |

logica:No, get ur facts right . It's the other way round. The Hausas and Yoruba were the first to call for secession even right under the British rule. Azikiwe diplomatically united all (Awolowo and bello) and coined the "one Nigeria" slogan . He asked for it to be put in the constitution after which the British agreed to . Then, A call for secession became treason. That was why he frequently advised Ojukwu against the war and when he wasn't yielding, he left the war torn country for Ojukwu to sort himself . He knew Igbos were guilty of treason 2 Likes 1 Share |

nkemdi89: You're not an Igbo woman. How many Igbo people do we see in this day and age spelling "Igbo" as "Ibo". Throughout my time on Nairaland, I've only really seen non-Igbos doing this . Ikenna0b come and see this "we the South-East Igbo" fraud here. Nzeogwu was a full-blooded, handsome Igbo man and I'm proud to be from the same ethnic group as him. 1 Like |
