Saintp: It appears so, especially for government owned universities in Nigeria based on the experiences that has been shared on this forum so far. Some have been on strike for months. With IQAS, you know that barring any unforeseen circumstances, you will get your ECA in 30 working days. Mine was done in 9 working days early this year. The challenge with WES is that most Nigerian institutions don't respond to enquiries on time. However, if you have attended a private university in Nigeria and they have a vibrant workforce, you may explore WES. Of course, in all cases, follow-up is necessary. 2 Likes |

40manlappy: Yes, Its 30 working days after all documents are received and it doesn't matter where the degree was obtained. The assessment of my UK degree took about 23 business days/33 calendar days after all documents were received. @elfmann WES takes shorter time with foreign degrees, most especially from developed countries, cos they don't really go through all those verification wahala, unlike naija degrees. 3 Likes |

Saintp: Ok. Which University did you attend? There could be a few exceptions to the rule though. Some have shared on this thread how their institutions responded to WES promptly. So the problem is not WES. Yours could be an exception.... 1 Like |

[quote author=GoldenJem post=59223814]Good day everyone I wish you all a very fulfilling week as far as our Canada Journey is concerned. I have the following questions: 1. I did my PCC in Benin through the State Police Headquarters which they processed to Alagbon and they gave me after two days. I hope it's ok. The coloured certificate says issued in Benin but it has a stamp of Central criminal registry Lagos. 2.The part on the coloured certificate where it says the certificate was issued for the holder to travel to (dash)......... was not filled though I filled Canada on the white finger prints form hope no issues with this. 3. The PCC was given to me on 22nd June and my ITA is August though not yet expired I hope I can still use it. 4. In completing the PR application under other Family members is it ok to add the names if ones immediate family traveling with you like spouse and children to other Family members like brothers sisters, father and mother and repeat same for spouse and children. Hello all, please I need answers. Thanks |

GoldenJem: If I were in your shoes, I would err on the side of caution. I dont enjoy being worried. I would re-do the pcc and get one from Alagbon properly filled. U still have tym... Infact, the destination " Canada" is even type written in mine. I didnt go to Lagos. You can do as advised and send your thumbprinted forms to lagos either via a friend or through trusted staff contacts shared here by people whose applications have gone through to ppr. This is my own opinion....u may wish to do or not..... I dont really undastand u # 4 question. could u make it a bit clearer? |

Hello On the cic site there is a question on how many years one has worked in the past 10 years. How does a business owner get around this when there is no appointment letter of payslip? Thanks 1 Like |

I thought applicants who have lived in Canada did not have to submit a police report unless IRCC requests for it. Canadianfly: |

I recall someone asked about order of landing (she was going to land this week or so, before her family and wanted to know what was acceptable). I searched for the post so I can reply directly but couldn't find it again if you are the one, the information below is the order of landing as stated in the CoPR. All the best. ORDER OF LANDING FOR FAMILIES/DELAYED ARRIVAL: There are two options for family landings. Whichever option you choose, it is important to remember that the principal applicant must always be the first landed. Option A: The entire family (including the principal applicant) lands together. If you choose this option, all family members must land at the same time and at the same port of entry. Option B: The principal applicant lands first alone. The dependants may then follow the principal applicant at a later date provided their COPR’s remain valid. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Saintp: Maybe you should "jejely" go with IQAS. They don't require additional verification apart from the transcripts that the institution sends. You can use the Search button at the top of this page to Google what others have said about FUTO/WES matter. Look out for the post of "Winchman" in the link below. https://www.nairaland.com/2624318/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/597#58026034 cc: MummyJaygirls 1 Like |

ugoiyke79e: Thanks for your response. The 4th question is this: When completing the PR application form where you are to list other family members not part of this application. Do we list only ones extended family like father, mother, brothers and sisters or do we also include our immediate family like spouse and kids? |
