I have gained admission for Spring 2018 in a University and their Cost of attendance is about $18k. However, that is not my 1st Choice school. If after securing my visa and traveling to the US, and I get admission into my more preferred university for Fall 2018 which offer GA and tuition waiver, can I do a transfer? And if yes, do I have to return immediately to Nigeria or I can chill in the states till I can resume in my preferred institution?

Please what are the chances that I wouldn't be out of status?

I have been trying to settle down, is been tasking but fun. I dont know anyone here but God Has Been Faithful. Have an apartment now (although quite expensive) . Travelling from Nigeria was quite a journey i could write a book from the experience.

POE was almost smooth. I had no Food items and really nothing to declare. Was still subjected to secondary screening (if that is what the yellow box means) nothing special, they just rechecked my bag to see if i really had no food items and i was told to Go.

I used Frankfurt airlines from ABJ. The Attendants were nice but food i couldn't understand. I guess it was good cause people were eatig it, its probably just the village spirit in me that couldn't eat.

I haven't even gotten a sim card yet, went in search of lyca mobile from the stores on their website, still couldnt find any. I have ordered online and hope its delivered soon..

[color=#990000]Noted LagosNIV, Well besides the reason I gave initially, I think I made mention of, they have an attractive course curriculum which best suits my profession. in addendum to that, there are some courses I discovered that are super interesting and I have this enthusiasm to learn them, eg. Management organisation and leadership, Technology and Computer Innovation, which would help me after my studies. From my research, I would have access to their well equipped Electronic Library which is updated every session with affordable electronic textbooks, for some students like me who would rather opt for books than food

Courses they don't have in other/better schools? You really need to sharpen your answers or select a better school.
