Alphadoor:The least point invite I saw was 70 for Mech engr, ICT system analyst, software engr, and ICT system and business. The 75s seem to be for Mech engr with DOE 7/08/17 and 8/08/17, and 'Almighty' accountants. |

70 points seems like the baseline even for Non-pro rata occupations this year due to the Pro rata backlog. The predictions are not looking nice at all for 65 and 60 pointers . There will be a remarkable improvement if invites per round is increased above 1000 but if not, state nomination or getting 70 points is the way forward. 1 Like |

spyroxy1: Why not submit for your state nomination first pending when you take your PTE? Maybe NSW, your invitation might just come in time. Or have u? 2 Likes |

teewhysafe:Hmmm. Let's wait and see the result for this invitation round, then one can estimate the backlog on the prostate occupations. At east the 70pointers on prorata were closer to clearing theirs at the last round with 2-4weeks lodgement dates. Next round should maybe clear up almost/if not all 70pointers. |

True. However backlog for 65 pointers has also built up. Some have been waiting since last year November. Non Pro rata backlog is at around June 21st now. We are waiting sha jayooh: |

bellong: Thanks for the reply, bellong. I really appreciate. The case here is that if I use my BSc, I will have 25+15+10=50points, which is less than the minimum (60points) required, and even less than the minimum (55points) for nomination. I'm preparing to see if I can hit an 8-point on IELTS(20points), then I will have... 25+15+20=60. What do you think? Any advise? |

frank043: The choice is yours. Either you use your HND and assess as a civil engineering draftsperson or BSC for structural engineer. You can't use HND to get a positive professional engineer assessment. |

[quote author=Ifeoluwa33 post=59267084]Afternoon. Just joining this group, I went through aitsl assessment for migration. Can I apply for the secondary school teacher having studied Educational Guidance and Counselling. I studied G&C from Unilag and applied as a secondary school teacher; I got a positive assessment from aitsl. Assessment takes about 3 months. The only problem though is they only respond via regular post. My letter got missing in transit and nipost tracking was always unavailable. After a lot of praying and fasting, they found it 2 months later sitting on a random table in their head office! |

spyroxy1: I don't understand.. However, from your point I know, you should apply for state nomination pending when you get a desired score in English. You still need an English test for state nomination. |
