Thats the nepotism and tribalism we are talking about.
Go to DPR, CBN, NPA, NNPC, frankly you will think nigeria is a muslim hausa country.
This is exactly why if you talk about doing things in this country by merit, the hausa/fulani will start revolting. Yorubas will see this and keep quiet, but let it be half filled with igbos, they will start shouting.
Hausas can never thrive where things are done on merit.

DPR is filled with Hausa Fulani.
The southern legislators are very useless. Just recently DSS recruited 51 personnel from katsina state (an alleged education backward state) alone. While the whole of personnel recruited from the SE is less than 50.
Shame of a country.

I think now Nigerians are beginning to understand what domination means with the various ethnic groups..

In the past we use to hear that igbos dominated Nigeria, since we weren't born then, we never really knew what it was to dominate but with recent happenings and history and research into what happened in the past, the truth is beginning to surface. They never told us that igbos had the highest number of educated and skilled manpower and were more progressive, determined and aggressive in their pursuit..Igbos were the captains and agents of change and development. Rather they lied to us that the yorubas were more educated and that igbos dominance was due to nepotism.

But going back to the years 1945 t0 1960,the igbo were already dominating Nigeria under British rule or was Britain favoring only the igbos?Infact it was the igbos that led the anti colonial movement that gave birth to Nigeria's independence. After Britain left, the governance system was regional before the military struck. since then, igbos have not been in power and they lost everything during and after the civil war...But today see how they dominate every sector of our socio economic life...My question now is did the igbos also do all that with government control?

Not that we have seen it all. yoruba rule, hausa/fulani rule and igbo rule. I have come to the conclusion as to what and how domination is to the three major tribes

To the north, it is nepotism, backwardness, terrorism, widespread poverty, imposition, suffocation, incompetence, intimidation with guns and death

To the yorubas, it is scheming, treachery, propaganda, lies, empty boastfulness, diplomacy, and tribalism

To the Igbos, it is progress mindedness, changed, advancement, merit, lobbying, negotiation and competition.

Unfortunately, Nigerians fear competition and merit. To them, running Nigeria on Merit is as good as handing Nigeria over to the igbos to dominate. Lazy igbophobic Nigerians.

As we all can see, Awo's Introduction of free education was for the Western region to catch up with the Eastern region and not as some revisionist have always told us. Infact despite a limit contributory fees being paid in the east, education was still in much demand than the free education region. All these parts of our history were not told in schools, rather the part that was told was distorted with yoruba media and statisticians with dubious figure and data, due to their long hold on the media and ministries after the defeat of Biafra, because to the yorubas, they had not competition. the north was not as educated as them, so the only people (the igbos) that would have challenged their nonsense have been relegated to the background hence they use media monopoly to tell lies to themselves. That is how they told us Ekiti is the most educated state, yet in the past 13yrs, ekiti has not even smelt top ten. Even ebonyi has performed far better than ekiti always shuffling between top nine and top eleven.

Even though most Niger Deltans are waking up but some need to be flog with iron koboko in the neck...while asking them, what is wrong with you? Can't you reason? Are you ok with the suffering in your land? Don't you see how Abuja looks like, and compare it to Port Harcourt (existed before Abuja), Yenogoa, Uyo, Asaba, e.t.c.?

Nnamdi Kanu is agitating for Nations inside Biafra, meaning, all nations will control their destinies. The oil in Bayelsa, belongs to Balyelsans. For example if Bayelsans sold oil worth $5 billions a yr, they pay tax 20-30% for military, federal projects and programs , and Bayelsa can keep over $3.5 - 4 billion against the paltry wicked change of less than $150 million it gets a yr from Nigeria. Can you compare $4 billion to chicken change $150 million? If Ijaws want to swim with the $4 billion, other nations, don't care. It's your money...do with as it pleases you! Same with Anambra, Delta, Rivers, Ebonyi, Imo, Abia, Enugu, Cross Rivers and Akwa Ibom. Nations like Akwa Ibom and Bayelsa can have the largest GDP in the world, even beyond QATAR, again, Other Biafraans will not care, we will not share it with you like Nigeria do with 30 states, and we will be happy for you. Simple!
