He was waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike and the opportunity is now that John is not around
I will suspect he will play the siblings against one another..... Especially with the way sansa was looking at arya during her spar with brienne.

Wonder why the writers didn't let Jamie die... was gearing up for some HD hellfire when I saw the heediat riding straight for the Dragon lady... only for one basterd to push him out

two high profile deaths in two weeks would have been epic... hope he ends up drowning tho ✔

And Sansa, felt sorry for her when she realised how useless she was ... seeing the greatness that is Arya good news for Jon Snow tho, at least a skilled fighter has been added to his armies ✔
