You are obviously losing about 20 points cos of age. With BSc, good IELTS score, 3 year work experience and less than 30 year old, you can get 441.

Age points for CRS increases till it maxes out at circa 29 and then it starts to decline again. Keep praying the cutoffs for ITA decrease some more.

Wow..433..I should do quick and apply o before Canada change mind. Please I have a question what if someone gets the cutoff mark but doesn't have work experience would the person be eligible?

I prefer WES but it also depends on your school. Is your school quick to respond? Do they have a way to respond to the verification request?

I tried the EE I scored 375 with my Bsc and 2yrs work experience though with a low score in Ielts 5.5 the NOC I actually wanted to apply is in NOC C.

What do you guys thinks like there are no much chances for NOC C as I mainly see NOC A& B with much request

Oga, just evaluate your Masters degree jeje. You will get more points. Besides, OSU na long thing o. I have been on my transcript ish for close to three weeks now. No show yet. Just trusting on God that they should answer on time, make me sef enter pool.

Hi guys, I just discovered this thread and I must say you guys are doing an awesome job. Congrats to all those that just got ITA and PPR.

Please I would like the seniors to analyze this my matter. My timeline is this:
AOR: May 10
Medical passed: June 26
IP1&Na2: June27
1P2:July 26 till date.
I sent a mail to CIC to find out my Visa Office and I got this response..
Our Office(CPC Ottawa) is processing your application. Your file is currently under review and requires additional verifications. As a result, the assessment period will be outside of our posted processing times.

Unfortunately, at this time,we are not able to determine when your application will b finalized but out our office will contact you as soon as all verifications are completed or if any additional information or documents are required.

I have tried to ignore this mail, but it worries me, I won't lie. Is there anyone who has received this type of response from them. What do you guys think? Should I just prepare my mind for the 6months? Please your inputs will be highly appreciated. Sorry for the long post.

Evaluating only your highest qualification(i.e your masters) still gives u d max possible score for u.......but some people choose to evaluate all their degrees.

The body u choose shld depend on how fast your awarding institution responds to verification - while WES needs verification after receiving ur transcript, IQAS doesnt.
It has been shown frm experiences here that non Nigerian degrees are evaluated faster by wes compaired to naija counterparts.

So if ur schl forms "deaf and blind" @ verification emails(wes does this), then u may want to choose IQAS(doesnt send verification emails)...
However, elfmann has hinted u dat WES is better recognised for geologists so u may just stick with dem and press ur schl to respond quick.

You are to evaluate only the Masters as it is your highest degree, so it gives you the highest score.

Congratulations once again. I asked earlier if ur gckey was approved before u recieved the pick up mail. I got my passports and copr for myself and two dependents on monday. I noticed one was the passports was not stamped but the COPR was included in the package. So i called accra to complain and what i was told got me really pissed. So i called cic canada and they called accra while i was put on hold. The nice lady told me she was very sorry and shocked because there was nothing wrong with my application from their end and my application has been approved since i got the PPR mail. Accra then mailed me and told me to return the unstamped passport,copr and the mail they sent. I have to spend another 46k for their error in accra. No apologies from accra for their incompetence. I hope no one has to experience this and maybe PR visa's would be done in Nigeria later in the future. Accra visa office behave as if Canada is a part of Ghana when u call or message them.

So sorry about what you experienced. It is indeed a big mistake on their part. Read about a similar case on another forum. I pray that very soon, you would be able to look back and laugh over this. May you have a smooth sail from here onward.

If u try evaluate that OOU BSc, I can assure you before the Evaluation is complete, you'd have become a grandpa and I'll be the new James Bond. Just go with ur Masters calmly.

NOC C are not eligible for express entry. Period. Not likely to change any time soon. See if you can get a NOC within A or B which closely matches your work experience and use that to apply. As for your IELTS, you need to improve your scores big time to get you above 400. Try and aim for scores in LRWS of 8,7,7,7 minimum to give you some hope
