Hello my great canny pple, congrats to all those uh recently passed ielts, got ITA.AOR and PPR by the grace of God we all wld also get ours. please i have a question; I have a US visa i got recently precisely june 2017 but i do not want to travel yet cos i would rather use the ticket money and other expenses for POF. please wld it be an issue (ie. getting a visa and not using it, tho its 2years i wld still use it later) when applying for canny EE? 1 Like |

mzjennypher: Of course not....it is not an issue. The issue is if the USA visa expires and you haven't used it at all....and that's issue with your subsequent USA visas and not CAN visas. 2 Likes |

nkigirl: Are you seriously asking me this question? You are being fraudulent and you keep saying you're not. I might not understand fully the requirements to obtain pcc for that country but I've found out CIC takes time to point you in the right direction. However if you decide to omit this info and your background check reveals the information you have concealed just say goodbye to Canada for a while. If I were you, I would be asking people who have done how they did it. Just do the right thing. 4 Likes |

Good morning all. I must commend you all for the job you are doing here. I was almost going to register with David Cohen until I came across this utmost useful thread. I have since then become a silent follower, evaluated my credentials successfully and done my IELTS and passed ok due to all the useful tips gotten here. My challenge now is two fold. I got an ITA in the draws done Aug 2nd. As at the day I got the ITA, I did not have sufficient proof of funds. I am now sourcing for the funds and know I will get it before the end of August. However, I have heard that the funds should be there for 6 months. Can I go ahead and apply knowing fully well that I did not have the money in my account for 6 months? I will appreciate feedback from the people that have done this. The second part is that in order to increase my CRS, I added a trade certification gotten from USA to make it two degrees and this increased my scores significantly. My dilemma now is I am not sure it will be accepted and without the certificate now, my reduced CRS will be sufficient to get an ITA with the draws done yesterday. Do I reject the ITA, get back in the pool and remove the certificate and hope for ITAs with reduces scores (My CRS will be 433 up till September when I have my birthday) to be on the safe side? Gurus and seniors in the house, kindly help. |

yimiton:Only provide the degree for your highest qualification which you evaluate. The rest I believe will appear in your personal history because you can't lie to CIC and you have to give every detail of your adult life from when you are 18. It should also appear in your study history but you will select that you did not evaluate the degree. This shouldn't be a problem 2 Likes |

Raconteur14:For Q1. Yes, you can submit even with the money not up to six months in your account. If the inflow you are expecting is huge, please do a gift deed to cover the inflow. You can read up on gift deed on this thread. Q2. Evaluating bodies do not evaluate trade certificates, but you need to show an ECA for certificates you claimed points for, so your trade certificate is inadmissible here since you did not evaluate it. As you said, if you remove that certificate, you point drops below the draw CRS your got your ITA (I believe that to be 441), if this is the case, you have to decline your ITA and be back in the pool. Hopefully, another draw will happen before your birthday and will be in your favor. You won't be doing this to be on the safe side but to save yourself trauma of your application being rejected cause it will be rejected if your remove that certificate and go ahead submitting. 1 Like |

Ljay17: LOL... . Maybe I was in a past life. You need to see the excitement when I just started this Canada journey and I realized I don't have to assess that BSc, I was over the moon. They are just a bunch of incompetent people, who feel they are something that they are not. And the bribe, that is on another level, EFCC needs to torchlight that school, especially Exams and Records. 4 Likes |

@Ehrnie I need you assistance. I want to convert my POF into treasury bills(3months) instead of it sitting idle in my account, i came across your post sometime back on this thread. I have my POF in my account, i am expecting my IELTS and WES results next week before i can get into the pool. My question is can i use Treasury Bills alone as POF?, although i will also attach my SOA and bank letter along. How did you go about yours? |

Thats how wes sent a mail saying masters doc have been accepted but they've sent a mail requesting for verification for my BSc Transcript (I dont know who send dem message as I only requested to evaluate masters only.) Probably because my school sent both transcripts as both degrees came from there. However after tweeting, calling, faxing and mailing their customer care all day yesterday saying they should focus on what i requested for, status changed to evaluation in progress in the evening . iss laik this people dont know we want to swim soon @balogunsam, how far? 1 Like |
