Let's be honest, all tribes are slaves to the north. Which other tribes can enjoy such protection or make threat without geting arrested. I give them credit, they have a way of keeping other tribes in check.
Maa ever sobe mo. Yoruba are no slaves to nobody. There is no need for making needless threats. We ain't suckers.
We are a king maker. We brought in this government & if there is a need to make a change, we'd make our prowess count.

Igbos are not and can never be slaves to anybody, we refuse to be slaves to any tribe in this country, that's why they always see a typical Igbo man as arrogant because he is not ready to tolerate shit.

Your observation is apt but there is something you overlooked.

1. The Hausa leaders need to protect theirs because over the century they have been shaped into a political tool wielded by the north to ensure the continual perpetuation of the current system. Protecting them is protecting the stake of the northern elite in current day Nigeria.

2. For SE the political elite are yet to shape their people into a political tool and at this very moment the SE youths are more of a "threat" to the SE politician than they are to the Northern politicians. It is "reasonable" for the SE politicians to stand aside and watch the federal government deal with the youths mercilessly with the hope that sooner or later the SE youth would fall in-line like the SW and Northern youths solely behind their leaders without any question asked.

3. Look at it this way, what group of people does the present day Nigeria favors? The answer is simple the elite, the elites cuts across all zones and any threat to one-Nigeria is a threat to the elite class in Nigeria. I am not surprised that the SE politicians are the way they are because both the SE,SW,SS and Northern leaders are cut from same cloak.

The same police don't know how to protect the Igbos when they protest but know their work when Hausas protest

When Kanu was taking selfies with Nigerian police men, the op didn't bleat that time.

Yesterday coalition of northern youths protested against the agitation of Biafra by the Igbos and equally called for the arrest of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. What caught my attention was not because of they were protesting for the arrest of Nnamdi Kanu but how Northern Leaders ensured that their youths were protected by providing police for them throughout their protest yesterday

Thousands of Igbos have been killed just for telling the world that they want to be free and don't want keep being slaves. The Igbo Leaders never protected them but keep on arresting them, sometimes order for their killing. When will our South East Leaders become wise? When will they stop being slaves to the northern leaders? How many Arewa Youths have been arrested for giving quit notice on Igbos?

As old as the South East Leaders are, they don't know that they are still slaves to the north which still baffles me. An Hausa or Fulani man can never wear an Igbo attire to please the Igbos but the South East Leaders always do this which shows their high level of stupidity

Till the South East Leaders start to carry the interest of the Igbos at heart, they will never stop being slaves to the northern leaders.

I no longer blame the idiotic and the so-called Igbo leaders but those youths who would ordinarily refer to them as Igbo leaders. The worst in this class of moronic youths are the pseudo-intellectuals among them.
