1. Migration is as old as mankind, true; but now we have nations with well-defined borders, look at what is happening in Nigeria for example, look at what is happening in Europe too. Uncontrolled migration, is a security and socio-economic threat. 2. When the white man came, they were smart enough not to come with force because that would have unified the native cultures against them, instead they took advantage of our already divided people. They gave guns to one tribe and that tribe used it on the other tribe, and got the white man slaves to exchange for more goodies. They didn't come knocking empty-handed, they came knocking with mirror, salt, clothes, snuff and we africans, got our own fellow africans and sold them as slaves (mind you slavery was already practised in Africa, we just internationalised it in a joint venture with the white man) for more goodies. We are still doing it today, collecting loans that put the future generations in virtual slavery, to fund the welfare states of the west. john20177: 1 Like |

uniquema:Yes you can travel with a carton of Golden morn even though you will be able to buy it in U.S and also just to inform you this kind of carton may bring about unwanted scrutiny for drugs in your baggage so think am well. You won't need a transit visa since it's British Airways flying you from Nigeria to U.S |

KaptainAfrika:When the white man came, they were smart enough not to come with force" by this I think you mean tricked *it's fraud in our generation (they gave us bible and take our land, culture, RESPECT and DIGNITY of black man left with white man. And if we play that card now it's tantamount to years in prison. I mean fraud in all aspect (I think right now we do it better than they did), as much I agree with some of your information, you didn't comprehend it in full. Besides these are the things they're still afraid of today. That we got better in been evil genius. History aside; a leader without compassion is a ruthless leader and with time they turn to tyrant. Now everyone is disturbed by North Korea Kim, well that's how the dad started... |

In the spirit of giving back, please see my transcript. Traveled from Abuja to Newyork via Cairo with two kids. Abv to Cairo wa's not so pleasant because the inflight entertainment was poor. Waited at Cairo airport for over an hour before we were taken to "Le Passage" for accommodation. Cairo to Newyork was long and smooth. Food and services quite OK. On arrival at JFK, the queue was too much so I used the self help machine. Got 3 clean white papers for me and the kids and I proceeded to the CBP. While at the CBP, not a single question was asked! The lady just looked at my kids, greeted us and stamped us in. If not for say I Don enter Yankee before, I for say na mistake say the real CBP dey front. It was just a breeze. Less than a minute! On my daughter's prompting, we held hands and prayed immediately we landed. Prayers work wonders my people and I give God all the glory. Many thanks to contributors on this platform too for making me go prepared. I'm right now chilling in NewYork, waiting for my wife and LO to arrive before moving to Chicago. Meanwhile, the cab man ( old black american) that took me from the airport missed his way! Imagine that? We drove for almost 2 hours from the airport to Yonkers. I was initially enjoying the city view, but I got tired and I had to collect his phone and use Google map to locate my bearing o, which eventually worked. God is awesome 11 Likes 1 Share |

Good morning. I was recently granted a B1/B2 visa and I'm planning my travel for September. Now my worries is that I filled in my application form that my expected stay in the US is 3 weeks but now I booked a ticket for one month. And also I have not booked a connecting flight from my POE to the city i intend to stay. Thirdly I filled in my application that I will be staying with my cousin for the period of stay in the US, do I still need to do a hotel booking? Thank you. |

Does anyone have a good idea on how to get cheap accommodation in NY e.g hotel, airbnb. Also, the location I understand determines the price. Kindly advice on cheap locations and lodging in NY. |

westo2017:Nawa ooo only you.. You must have a reason for staying for an extra week... if they ask you at the airport explain why you're spending an extra week. Please book the connecting flight asap and in Nigeria before flying to U.S don't waste time. Since your cousin is not part of the form mentioning him will land you in trouble.. book your hotel just like you've said in the form. |

I filled in my form that I will be staying with my cousin so why shouldn't I mention his name at the POE? |
Re: U.S Visit: Port Of Entry Interview/stories. by seyewest(m): 1:10am On Aug 12, 2017 |
cerezo:Queens or Brooklyn better still try New Jersey it's cheaper but check the transportation from your location to New York. |

seyewest: I flew from abuja and not lagos. The car driver charged $85. I made my enquiry with Uber and Taxify and I knew r shouldn't be more than $70. I eventually paid $80 though. The accommodation in Cairo was OK, only that it took long before it was provided.... 1 Like |

You were very lucky. To everyone with a relative in the US, try knowing things about them. Bro you were lucky - you don't know where your brother works, or the name of his fiancée...that CBP officer is an angel in disguise. Bawo4199: |
