Leicester system suck?

You expected them to have dominated play against a team like Arsenal at the emirates stadium?

Besides what we saw Leicester play last night was typical of how they have been playing even the season they won the league.

See I don't expect Iheanacho to emerge a player with the highest goals or highest number of assists this season. I expect to see a descent showing. I expect him to have a better run of games unlike last Season.
I expect his number of goals to hit at least a double digit.
I need him to come to the 2018 WC as a player fit and ready to compete at that level.

I don't know what your own expectations are that you have already started condemning the Leicester system.

Their system always sucked but it was more obvious watching it yesterday trying to see how they could be decent.

That is why I am totally against a player moving to any club for game time. His development and growth as a player should lead the decision. I hope Nacho makes a good deal off this but as you already know, it is a system that is not built to bring the best off him.

Even players signing for top clubs with quality around them hardly hit the ground running with no delay. Then Leicester City wants to play long ball and sit deep. Then they want a player to hit the ground running with no delay.

Their team suits a defensive minded player. They should go and learn how to play ball.

For Shakespeare to have gone for Iheanacho he definitely felt he could fit into the team's philosophy. Whether this turns out to be or not depends on both the player and coaching crew.

As I said, we will see how they set-up against smaller teams but that system of play Leicester City is known for is not the kind of system to groom a top quality talent.

I am interested in players developing fast than just suiting a system.

I am sure you know there are no small games in the EPL. You saw what Burnley did to Chelsea, Watford drew Arsenal, Huddersfield beat Crystal palace and even Arsenal struggled to beat Leicester City.

Even when you play a team at the lower end of the table you aim at claiming the 3 maximum points and also boost your goals difference.

Almost every game would be like a cup final.

Where teams use fringe players are cup games.

It is more of a personal choice but I prefer young promising creative/attacking talents playing under Coaches that embrace attacking style of play. It helps the players have more chances to show their quality.

Look at Dortmund for instance. You can expect five or more great scoring chances in each game.

In Leicester City, most of the few created chances falls to Vardy.

A 4-4-2 offensive strategy with Nacho pairing would have been more ideal. Or a 4-3-3 offensive set-up.

I hope Nacho excels there but the system does not look promising.

Maybe Leicester City looked that bad because Arsenal is a team that holds the ball well and are dangerous when attacking.

Maybe Leicester might look better to me in their next game. I will watch closely and give an updated verdict.

It is only clubs like Barcelona and Bayern Munich that can dominate Arsenal at the Emirates stadium.

Leicester attacked Arsenal a lot and looked really threatening until the tactical changes made by the coaches.

Leicester were not that poor overall. They are an attacking side.
They had a good game if you ask me.

He should sever ties with Liverpool to remain in Belgium so as to develop his career because jumping from one club to another in the name of playing opportunities while riding on the tag of big English club (like Omeruo) as a parent club won't help him at all.
