Good morning people, I started out growing cucumber in sacks and it was successful. Now I started another one on a plot of land and I have this problems I never encountered before. I did basal for the fertilizer application at planting and I've been applying fungicide every four days. I planted the seeds last Thursday. Here are pix of the plants. Your advices are needed. Thanks

D pix u sent are few thus making diagnosis difficult. Also, which insecticde do u use, is it properly calibrated?, if not it will scorge the plant and they will die. Why fungicide? Did u notice any disease infection? Also, giv fertilizer immediatly . Do not directly apply this fertilizer close to the crop it will kill it. Give some distant apart and apply NPK 7:10:10. Weekly. Just a litle quantity.

Insecticide used is cyperforce and yes it's well calibrated. There are little traces of infection about 5%.and also from my last experience, prevention is better than cure. Thanks for your suggestion

My cucumber are stunted in growth compared to the previous batch Tho I did those ones in sack. Above are pictures of my plant. I applied npk as basal application at planting and also urea at 2 weeks. I apply fungicide and insecticide between 3-6 days interval depending on the issue at hand. Please your inputs will be gladly appreciated. Thanks

good day OP!.
having gone through your thread i can a lot of things went wrong. first of all at planting stage you don't need NPK. what you need is organic compost or composted animal dropping(fowl dropping or cow or pig droppings ). get them or any you canblay your hands on and work them up with your soil. to improve the soil fertility. then you plant.
If you want to bringing artificial fertilizer dat should be from 15days old of your plants. and its just 1/2 or 1teaspoon 4inches away from plant stem to avoid plant burning as seen in your last two pics. The yellow border line at the edge if the leaves indicates serious reaction from excessive use of NPK and UREA fertilizer. Most times liquid fertilizers are preferred at the early stage say before 15days. Again the insecticides you are using. improper dilution with water and regular use of it on plants can pose a big risk of stunting plants growth by harming beneficial microorganisms on the leaves surface. I will advise you can use it ones in a while especially when there are no signs of insect attacks on the plant. The make provision of adequate water supply especially in the morning if a sunny day besiege.
Get some weeds in your farm cutt off the roots, soak them in a bucket of good water and leave to ferment for atleast 2weeks. strain out the water rich in Nitrogen and beneficial microbes. use them as soil drench on your plants twice a week. Then if you need some organic and super rich fruit fertilizers check up organicfoods on this AGRO section.
Please desist from use of NPK especially at that early stage of planting. and also, wrong use of UREA. They can wreck your good work.

Why would u grow inorganic.. D problem with ur plant is dat d chemical were much. Even growing organically too much manure in cucumber farm kills the plant especially on sack farm.. Prevention itz better than cure.. U spray wen u notice pest, y dnt u buy organic foilage fetilizer from our company: it boost growth, maintain d health of d plant n equally act a little of pest control. It helps alot.
