LordOfNaira:you ask for what belongs to you that's what you have been doing as regards leadership. You don't talkdown what belongs to you, do you? Can you see it is clear foolishness talking down something over the years without change |

Re: Bishop Oyedepo's Private Jet In Benin (Photos) by LordOfNaira: 3:56pm On Aug 13, 2017 |
majekdom2: Responsibility is not all about fighting for what belongs to you. You can fight against all forms of leadership. Religious and political leadership are contributory factor to the mess we have today and it's our responsibility to tackle it. It took years for Europe to put religion in its place so it is not foolishness to do what we do. It is foolishness to expect that nothing will change forever. The only constant thing in life is change. It may take long but there would always be change. |
Re: Bishop Oyedepo's Private Jet In Benin (Photos) by Nobody: 4:05pm On Aug 13, 2017 |
LordOfNaira:ok, Europe has put religion in its place. Has it stopped pastors from being rich? What are you doing really? You call talking down "doing"? Where a your works against religion? Where are the works to enact the change? Are churches not still rich in Europe? Bro, you are on the foolish path. Accept that now. Many fools have seen this, retraced their steps and are doing better now. You will be livingg in misery trying to change what you have absolutely no power to change. |

MadCow1: Then you better start going to hell, obviously you don't read your Bible 2 Corinthians 8:9 KJV:For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich. |

guy, I UNDERSTAND YOUR PAIN but it is still based on ignorance give your life to christ and strive to have a personal relationship with him and you wont even see it as an issue The laws of sowing and reaping is real my brother The bible also encourages us to do so (cos finance is need for the advancement of the kingdom) THE GOD THAT ADMONISHED US TO TITHE IS NOT STUPID so am not tithing based on what a pastor said, but on what God says and if you say am a fool (like millions of other people in the world who also tithe) then you are calling God the most wisest, most glorious, most loving, most powerfull, most kind, most loving, most holy, foolish? but still whatever man, am done typing, you are entitled to your own opinion there are two things in life Man's freewill and God's sovereignty. |

majekdom2: You are missing the point. There are prosperity preachers in Europe but there are also technological advancements and low rate of poverty. That is putting religion in its place. Putting Religion in its place does not mean destroying it. It means reducing its influence on the people. Europe has achieved that. Nobody would be seriously concerned about Oyedepo if he were not so rich in the midst of poverty. As for being on a lost path, I think you are merely projecting. It is you who is lost and ignorant. It was for people like you that Karl Marx mentioned Religion being an opium that gives temporary relief and keeps the people from revolting against their oppressors. |

CAPTAIND5235: Yeah.. The letter from Paul (a.k.a Saul the Christian Mass Murderer) to the Church in Corinthains.. Okay... Give me a few minutes to provide you with a 'robust' response to that very abused passage of the Bible. I need to sort some things out then read that scripture and respond. Read this bible commentary on that passage.. https://www.studylight.org/commentary/2-corinthians/8-9.html |

majekdom2: You see the reason why I call Oyedepo a businessman? Because every time I mention him, someone must mention Dangote and even celebrities like Davido. |
Re: Bishop Oyedepo's Private Jet In Benin (Photos) by Nobody: 5:28pm On Aug 13, 2017 |
LordOfNaira:I only used it as a reference. Population is alway alway factor. Yes he is a business man like Abraham. Go figure how he acquired his wealth. If you think offerings and tithes are enough to foot private jet bills, build institutions and maintain churches facilities, think again! |
Re: Bishop Oyedepo's Private Jet In Benin (Photos) by LordOfNaira: 5:35pm On Aug 13, 2017 |
majekdom2: My friend, we know that tithe is enough. Do you know how many people pay tithes in that Canaanland from those who earn millions to those who earn as low as 5000 naira? That is not to mention offerings and many other gifts. |
Re: Bishop Oyedepo's Private Jet In Benin (Photos) by Nobody: 5:47pm On Aug 13, 2017 |
LordOfNaira:so you know people who earn millions go to the church dey dere. FYI, people dey land contracts, build business relationships through the church. So why wont they give to the man that has created the platform. People's lives has changed. They testify day in day out. So what is your own problem. Only fools doubt proofs |
Re: Bishop Oyedepo's Private Jet In Benin (Photos) by LordOfNaira: 6:09pm On Aug 13, 2017 |
majekdom2: Yes, just like I know that billionaire kidnapper, Evans, also went to church. Just like I know about 35 million dollars stolen from Sheraton and used to fund many Christ Embassy projects. Just like I heard about Ahangba stealing 150 million naira from Bayelsa state government and gifting Winners Chapel 11 million naira. My friend, prosperity is not a sign of God's blessing. That was not what Paul said the Christans should look out for in a Man of God. Anyway, I almost forgot that Oyedepo is a businessman and a writer of motivational books. |

I would rather not comment ,but to advise those are quick in insulting men Like Bishop Oyedepo , Please ask your father why is he not successful, but you are quick to insult a man that did not for one day work under any body either , individual, government or Private sector, he has been a preacher since he left school because he had an encounter with God. God please forgive all these nairalanders ignorance 1 Like |

LordOfNaira:you will not see people who give give church from their truthful labour. You will only see the false ones... It is always expected. The bible says the gospel will ride on prosperity. Check it again. Prosperity and good health is a sign of God's blessing. Go read your bible again. If Oyedepo was still driving a rickety car after 36 years, won't you question his God. People go always talk... just see the good side to things. Don't come Judgemental as we are all humans. Let the maker Judge. |

majekdom2: You are a very ignorant Christian. So Evans' wealth is a sign of God's blessings abi? I should see only the good side of things sounds like selfishness. If Bill Gates only saw the good side of things, he would not be pumping money into healthcare and education in Africa. It is selfishness to close my eyes to cases of lack of transparency in churches, especially in the face of poverty. Just so you know prosperity is not a sign of anything. The devil can give prosperity too, at least according to the Bible. All you need is to bow down to him. (He even told Jesus that). Oyedepo does not have to drive a rickety car. No one said he should be poor as a church rat but all Paul told Timothy was to be content. To only ask for the basic things of life: shelter, clothing and food. What else does a man of God need. Modesty is something that a man of God should chase. A 500000 naira car does not have to be rickety. As long as it can move and move fine. A beautiful modest house is OK. He should eat modestly. Every other wealth should go into humanity. What is the essense of a private jet or gigantic church buildings? Are we building a church or mansion? A shepherd is not just to feed the church (the body of Christ, and not those mansions) with the word of Christ but with food. In the early Church, people brought their money and fruits before the Apostles who in turn shared it among the church. Peter did not buy a ship. Even Paul who was constantly sent out (meaning of "Apostle")did so on commercial ships. If Oyedepo can take his mind away from the riches of these world, he would understand the true meaning of sacrifices and the futility of building mansions while thousands languish in poverty. |
