Nigeria have never won a tie in the CHAN qualifiers in which the 1st leg was an away match for the Super Eagles. Worry?

haha.. Even Bonaventure was not the best in Ukraine. Solomon had rave reviews in Croatia last year. We make it seam that it's easy to shine in some of these countries.

if he want to be invited then he has to be the best
denis is making a name in belgium now. when he was in ukraine he did well

I was so so happy that Chelsea lost. now they know they need ViMo.
Exactly bro, chelsea fans be calling for azpilicueta to replace moses at RWB saying moses is better as depth or squad rotation just because he doesnt cross and maybe because he is black. But thank God conte thinks otherwise. With that loss now, they will now realise moses is an important first 11 player,

Sheybi some people wanted to chop my head off when I told them Etebo plays as a false 9 for his club. Ignorance is indeed bliss.

don't mind them jare. The painful part is that such attitude mask their potentials in the early stage of their careers.

The pissing part is that Nigerian players get satisfied easily as long as they are professional player.

These guys need to be hungry! Hungry for more-that's the only way to stay top and ahead of one's peer.
I remember some words of Babatunde Michael sometime ago....
shortly after he signed for Raja Casablanca of Morocco...
he openly said...the extra 2-3 hours he spent daily on individual training is paying off...and such was the reason for his eye catching displays...
and truly the dude was playing well then...good assists and goal scoring improvements....
to my surprise...he only end signing for a team in Qatar...probably the smell of the arab money attracted him there....
the reason for the story is to tell that....individual training and extra efforts pays....
few footballers I have always come across....I always tell them this...if they must reach the zenith of the career they must be disciplined and go the extra mile to grow and develop themselves in the round leather game...

moreover the coach still don't have sense...
why bench morata for bats?
same thing wrong wit Shakespeare is wrong wit him....
they believe in gradual integration of players which does not work well in all situations

Better. Success should have stayed.

I have always seen him as a player whose style is suited for the Spanish game. If he becomes a big hit at Girona, he could transfer to a good Spanish team like Villareaal or even Athletico Madrid. If Man city choose to sell.

In a way, this could turn out to be a good deal for the Super Eagles since he's guaranteed playing time at Girona in a season preceeding the world cup (if we qualify). A very good season in the La Liga almost guarantees him a starting shirt for the national team.

Why Man City though? Even if pep called him.

Is this not about money again? He would have had the chance at the premier league. Instead, he will be battling relegation with Girona.

And the fact that he is not a big name signing will make it hard to break into the Man City team. He will have to score 15 + goals and save Girona from relegation. Even that will not guarantee him a Man city spot.

he should....buh 4 Girona to make it back to la liga they cant b dat bad a team....for me all he needs there is playing time n he should b able to prove himself

At first I thought this was a bad movie but when I sat down to think about it I figured out some things.

This is a brilliant move for the player and for the Super Eagles. While Pep is selling Iheanacho(and putting his buy back clause at 50mill which we know no European team will pay for an African), Pep is making a direct phone call to Kayode. Players like Kayode have always been an integral part of Pep's strategy, players of average height who can press like 2 men so that his main man can conserve his strength and do damage at specific times, Henry pointed this out long ago. In Barcelona it was Pedro, when Ibra came it was either he or Messi was going to start pressing for two and Ibra wasn't ready hence the reason why he was sold and Pedro kept his spot all through. At Bayern he had Douglas Costa and when he wasn't around, Muller was instructed to press so that Robben can be free to attack and conserve strenght. But in Man City he has no one, Sterling is a fraud but he remains relevant because he can press, Aguero doesn't press, Jesus neither and both players would rather drop deep and help develop player. Pep did try to improve Iheanacho's pressing abilities so he can be the workaholic but it never worked out hence the reason why he was sold not loaned. Naturally if Pep still wants you, he will loan you to a possession based team( Rafinha to Celta, Borjan to Ajax etc). So him loaning out Kayode to a coach with a similar philosophy shows that he intends to use him so this is a brilliant move.
Brilliant write up sir! This write up prompted me to go watch kayode`s past season highlight on the tube and i can clearly see why Pep wants Kayode. The way kayode reads the game is one which shows his intelligence, his mobility, his off the ball movement, his workrate, his on the ball skills and techniques, his versatility as he can play CF,RF,LF,WF, his ability to drop deep and hustle for the ball shows he is a Pep typo player. Wish the young man the best of luck!

Watched the guy few days ago and i can tell you he is a beast in the air.But he still has a long way to go as his footwork, decision making in the final third and a whole lot required of a modern day CF is lacking in his game but i believe he can improve.Sadiq,Osimhen and Dessers ahead of him for now in my own pecking order.

I wont like to say success is a dummy.Success had an offer from atletico madrid but let granada decide his future as you know granda and watford has same owner and also the lure of playing footy in England at his early age which my boy thinks is an achievement played a part in his watford move.Simeone was said to have liked his style of played as you also all know atletico madrid plays a rugby type of football which makes success suit their team well as he is very physical. Atletico would have offered him good development under a good coach like simeone but our boy went to England to show off hairstyles and the likes. Now he is not even in the watford matchday squad anymore.

Thank you! Our boys think moving to England is the greatest acheivement in football.
Once they here England, they lose all their senses.

Dribbles 3, Tackles 6, Interception 1, Clearances 4. His long throw is also a thing of beauty as it caused all sort of problems fof the opposition

Their system always sucked but it was more obvious watching it yesterday trying to see how they could be decent.

That is why I am totally against a player moving to any club for game time. His development and growth as a player should lead the decision. I hope Nacho makes a good deal off this but as you already know, it is a system that is not built to bring the best off him.

Football is very unforgiving and very quick to forget, in some respects you are only as good as your last few games.

The club you choose to go to will either make or break you. I remember Nigerian top defender who left Russia to Bolton and his career literally ended, forgotten hid name.

There is no need looking at systems and styles if play. Unfortunately KC does lot have a long or experienced pedigree. This club will be his promotional examination.

KC needs to get his head down ADAPT, MODIFY & GET GOING with goals. Leicester expects it.

When Balotelli and Benteke moved to Liverpool on the back of excellent pedigree and a past top performance in thier previous clubs. Liverpool nearly destroyed thier careers. Falco and Zaha were messed up at Manchester United they moved on.

However, all these players had a many seasons of top flight football they were all proven and tested in different teams.

This is not Manchester city that played to his strengths. Now he has to prove who he is.

There will be now other players that will collect his position in the SE if he does not. The ball is in KC's court.

I have said this but was slated by the KC can do no wrong fan club.

You see that's the thing many people do not want to acknowledge here that with that move, Kayode's career trajectory might just be taking a turn for the better(no Best!). For the match against Cameroon I'd rather have him or Onyekuru as the CF, but Mikel seems to do a pretty good job at AMF currently does it better than Iheanacho and for Iheanacho to play as the Amf then Etebo must be benched but we can't afford to lose Etebo's work-rate. In the matches that Mikel has played, once he gets tired the team starts playing like crap and comes under severe pressure but against Algeria we never came under severe pressure because Etebo never stopped running even when Mikel got tired he was carrying the midfield alone, so for me he has to start.

On the wings, there should be zero reason for Iwobi or Moses Simon to start there, it's as if we have a truckload of wingers who can do serious damage, but the problem is that when the team list will be released, the same sentiments will be applied

I don't know what's with Nigerian players and their love for the premiership.

He'd have developed more in Spanish la liga.
