I just went looking for the reference, and found that it was not just any priest, it was a CARDINAL (next to POPE).

The Roman Catholic Church has a terrible history of Warfare and Murder.

"THOU SHALT NOT KILL" never affected them.

THAT is what should have been discussed, and not diet.



The "THOU SHALT NOT KILL" Commandment meant no killing of fellow Human beings on their own determinism.

If Krishna was a warrior god, how about Yahweh?
Did Yahweh not fight wars using the Israelites? or put the other way, did the Israelites not war in the name and blessing of Yahweh?
