Please i just need to ask a quick question. My cuz was just asked to pay 4m naira for part payment of school fees by the agengy helping him with the Australian student visa. Is it true he has to pay part payment before his visa will be granted. I tot its after the visa, you can then proceed to pay. Thanks |
Re: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by zeemo2007: 11:25am On Aug 17, 2017 |
keleks: Paying tuition deposit doesn't anyway guarantee visa. You must pay tuition deposit before the school will give the coe to apply for visa and this amount will be stated on the offer letter the school gave your cuz. The agent will inform the student to make this payment directly to the school account. Becareful of giving money to agent especially if the agent is not from the school. |
Re: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by Albion05: 12:09pm On Aug 17, 2017 |
The payment of the tuition fees is done by the student directly to the account the school provided. Most schools in Australia used Flywire in receiving their payment. Kindly request the details you needed from your agent to proceed for your payment. Always ask your agent questions because you are the original applicant to avoid mistakes or wrongful entering of your data by the agent. Monitor and work closely with your agent. zeemo2007: |

aimmydidi: Welcome to the queue of delayed visas, just seat back relax, fasten your seat belt and enjoy the cool ride of the persistent delay, pray it comes out soon or better still wen u are fedup with the hullabaloo of the embassy, you will jejeli defer your admission to the next intake, lots of people have deferred due to long delay. Hope my two cents will cool your anxiety and HBP. 5 Likes |

I've gotten heaps of pms since my last post about social work degrees. I'm terribly sorry, I can't respond to each pm cos I'm very busy at the moment. So I'll try and summarize it all in this post: You're still eligible for AASW membership whether the Uni's accreditation is provisional or full, and you'll still get great jobs. Bachelor of Nursing graduate entry is eligible for PR post graduation cos you're eligible for APHRA registration and the course' duration is 2 years. Master's in economics will neither lead to PR nor good jobs in Australia so choose wisely. IT is saturated by Indians, getting PR or a good job after graduation may be quite tough but not impossible. Social work is a good alternative for those who cant study nursing, and I thought I should let people know that nursing isn't the only good thing out there. But please don't send me pms asking me to look for cheap schools for you, that's your job not mine and it's really infuriating. And lastly, I can't comment on job situations in Melbourne and other cities, I can only comment on Sydney. 6 Likes |

Notice from Australian Embassy N noreply@visas.co.za Tue 2017-08-15 04:22 PM Inbox Dear valued customer The Australian Immigration Office in Pretoria is entering its peak period where application volumes triple in the lead up to the Christmas Holiday period. They have reallocated all available resources to cope with the increased volumes, and will endeavour to meet these additional demands. Understanding this growing demand, Australia’s Department of Immigration and Border Protection which is responsible for immigration and border policy, replaced visa service standard times with global visa and citizenship processing times in March 2017. Global visa and citizenship processing times provide an indicative timeframe for processing applications and are part of the Department’s ongoing efforts to improve client information. However it is important to note the Department is no longer bound by visa processing service standards, and they encourage you to lodge applications on behalf of your clients as early as possible. Regrettably these increasing pressures on their offices mean that they can no longer be amendable to poorly prepared applications for the common temporary entry visa subclasses. In an effort to reduce processing times they are now making determinations for visa applications based on the information provided in the application. They do not have the capacity, nor is there any legislative requirement, to request standard information required to support a visa application. In circumstances where insufficient information has been provided and the application is refused, there are no grounds for appeal and your clients would not be eligible for a refund of the visa application charge. Unfortunately the majority of these poorly prepared applications for the common temporary entry visa subclasses are lodged by a handful of the many travel agents and visa lodgement services they regularly engage with. Continuing to lodge poorly prepared applications will cost your clients and your business time and money when you are required to lodge a second visa application. The Australian Immigration Office wants to assist you in servicing your clients, and urge you to carefully consider appropriate support documentation for each Australian visa application your organisation lodges. Below are links to checklists for the common temporary entry visa subclasses. More information and checklists can be found using the Australian Government’s Visa Finder tool: www.border.gov.au/Trav/Visa-1. The links are as follows: - Tourist Visitor Visa (subclass 600) – www.border.gov.au/Trav/Visa-1/600-/Visitor-visa-(subclass-600)-Tourist-Stream-document-checklist - Business Visitor Visa (subclass 600) – www.border.gov.au/Trav/Visa-1/600-/Visitor-visa-(subclass-600)-Business-Visitor-Stream-document-checklist - Temporary Work Short Stay Specialist (subclass 400) – www.border.gov.au/Trav/Visa-1/400-#sub-heading-8 (under Follow these steps tab) - Temporary Activity Visa (subclass 408) – www.border.gov.au/Trav/Visa-1/408-/applicant-checklist and www.border.gov.au/Trav/Visa-1/408-/sponsor-checklist - Transit Visa (subclass 771) – www.border.gov.au/Trav/Visa-1/771-#sub-heading-5 (under Follow these steps tab) Please contact MDS VisaPak for further details on the above. Please, I have questions based on my profile. I have been denied US visa, twice in 2009 and once in 2012. First denial was on educational purposes while second was on visiting. I have also be denied UK visa in 2008 based on the submission of falsified WAEC document which i wasn't aware of. I applied again in 2010 and was also denied based on the first denier. The second denier stated,a 10 years ban have been applied since my first denier. I have then studied in Cyprus for my Bsc and graduated with a 1st class in 2013. I have also been to Germany for visit in 2012. MY QUESTION: I am planning to go for my Msc in Australia for Febuary 2018. Hope the UK and US denier wont affect my VISA application? |

samakinbo:The denial isn't much of a biggy, so long you state the reasons for denial. However, the red flag I see here is the falsified documents. You need to be careful subsequently and you may want to claim the agent who handled your visa application screwed it up. 3 Likes |

samakinbo: Australia to Britain (U.k) is like an extended territory, so...it's a 50/50 chance. But in what ever you're to do because it's not up to 10 years and you've been to other countries and return without visa violations (i choose to think) ,show remorse and they may show mercy(Parole). But 10th year is just next year. Patience if you can. 3 Likes |

samakinbo: Are the two refusals big deal ? Yes they are, the case officer will be more sceptical of your application due to past immigration history but the fact it was a long time, it can be assumed that your profile has improved greatly and your circumstance have changed. What you can do ? Notify them of both refusals. Make sure your masters course is very related to your previous background and current work experience. You should be able to write a strong SOP and make sure you emphasis your past studies abroad, your academic excellence including your previous trips abroad after both refusals. |
