It did start a bit slow, I actually fell asleep during episode 2. In my defence, I hadn't slept and it was a bit slow with the build up. Once I woke up, went back into it, by episode 4 I was certainly invested. On episode 5 now, I'll probably update it once I finish episode 8.

GOT Season 7 Episode 6 and 7 SPOILER'S ALERT

Little Finger's plan to play the Stark girls against each other is foiled, with Warg Bran coming through. Sansa sentences him to death and Arya carries it out.

Jon and 'the team' go past the wall where trouble looms. Thoros is killed, Jon is half dead before Uncle Benjen saves him, sacrificing himself.

Dany goes there with her dragons to save the crew (this is where Jon was left behind before Benjen).

One of the dragons (Viserion likely) is killed and resurrected for the Night King to mount. He breathes blue flame now

Jon asks Dany to commit now that the threat is real. Cersei is shown proof and she says she would commit men but later tells Jamie that she wouldn't. She hopes the Night King and the wight walkers kill off her enemies. Jamie is displeased so he rides North.

Cersei has a miscarriage as blood is seen on the bed

Sam and Bran figure out the legitimacy of Jon and that he is Aegon. There is a flashback to the wedding of Rhaeger and Lyanna.

Jon and Dany have ssex despite being her Aunt.

Finished. IF still annoys me, as usual I wanted to just punch him. I felt that it could have gone a bit longer, but it was okay overall. The chemistry between the core 4 was actually good and when they broke up in pairs (Heroes for Hire AKA LC & IF, and DD & JJ) they actually still had good chemistry. I liked how Weaver played the villain & learning more about the origins of The Hand, but she did feel wasted at the end of the arc. I'll give it credit for the ballsy decision it made for some characters, until they kinda de-ballsed it in the end. But, I guess we kinda expected it, but still it would have been better if they hadn't done it like that. I can see this getting a 7, but I don't know if I'm being too generous. The fight scenes are sweet and IF still looks silly in that bobbing and weaving waiting for his turn scene in the trailer. I think it was actually funnier seeing it in the actual moment. I guess, I still prefer it to IF. Oh and LC definitely has the best soundtrack in TD, you'll always know his scenes, 'cause you just get some sweet hip hop.

Now I'm going to watch Netflix's other release that arrived today (What Happened to Monday).
