LagosismyHome: A friend of mine turned down an offer of a full scholarship from Boston University to attend the Harvard MPH with no scholarship. She even had to take on a loan. Afterwards she did the boards and is now a practicing doctor in the US. I advised her to go for Boston over Harvard but the brand name of Harvard had entered her head too much. So now she has all that debt on her head and she is not using the degree for anything. 6 Likes |

Walspring: To those who sent me pm based on Toefl and GRE that I replied. Please login yourself to check the date available and send it to me yourself because I don't have time to do that and my own it to forward what you sent to me to the people that will do the registration Also those who sent me cash along with their details have an edge over those who sent details only because I will sort out what I have as cash first. Also those who wanted Toefl and GRE the same time, I am not sure if it will be given to you but I already forwarded that request as well, but as for me I work on first come first serve. Lastly for those who don't have the full 50% now I wish I could help but the last time helped someone thinking he will balance he didn't up till now and it's a slap on my face not to be able control this levels. You guys should register your Ets account via computer or laptop and not on phone 1 Like |

Hmmm. We all know that people can turn down many top schools for full ride to another school, but when it's Harvard... I pity her and her massive loan sha. Fenix: |

folakemmmi: The cheapest way to handle this is typically to add it to an existing policy. If you already have auto insurance, just check for any multi-policy discount you'll be able to get by adding it. If you don't have an existing auto policy, just go ahead with the cheapest one around that meets the minimum apartment coverage requirements. Usually the default you find may have more than required coverage. Decreasing the coverage to just the minimum required can get you lower premiums. Use the internet and talk to them as well. |

Ijebuboy525: Nothing can change your grade (cgpa) at this point but other requirements can increase your chance. GRE tells how ready you're to take on graduate level courses. So cgpa and GRE would be placed side by side when adcom is making selection. |

imperiouxx:Now I understand better, one more question, in terms or requirements, each school have theirs, after getting a good score in GRE, can I apply to any school or how do I get a school that'll consider my application with good GRE and low cgpa? Sorry for the too much questions, I just want to be sure.... 1 Like |

Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 12 by Fenix: 6:57pm On Aug 18, 2017 |
OGreene: I found a flight through Wakanow. It was surprisingly easy and cheap. In fact it was about 30% cheaper than what agents were quoting for me. I was skeptical at first. I wasn't sure Wakanow was legitimate but it is. 1 Like |

Hello house, Please, my friend graduated 2015, went for NYSC 2016, traveled the same year to italy and Cameroun precisely Sept and December respectively. Early 2017 he again traveled to Paris and started working in may till date. Now, please house what would be his response to 'why did you travel during service year? |
Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 12 by Fenix: 8:11pm On Aug 18, 2017 |
I ended up not using the agent. But if these agents know about places like Wakanow, why are they still in business? My ticket was #300, 000 cheaper than what I would have paid an agent. |
Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 12 by Fenix: 8:13pm On Aug 18, 2017 |
Drocks: The truth ALWAYS helps. You are not meant to travel during service year without permission. Was the travel for emergency purposes or jollification? |

Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 12 by nellyalph: 8:55pm On Aug 18, 2017 |
jeromebnk: It won't cost that much, say $2000-$2500 on tuition for 12-15 credit hours per semester. But your concern should be living expenses; I know for sure that accommodation will be high. |
