Olajide Adeniran, the public relations & marketing strategy professional launched his company Core Media Services in 2008, but by 2013, he had relocated his firm to a brand new multi-million naira building called Core Media House, along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway in Isheri North area of Lagos. Core Media started beaming its programmes to Nigerians through LTV, DStv 129, TVC, MITV and GALAXY TV. But in 2014, Adeniran launched Core TV news, a 24-hours digital TV news station, to provide news and current affairs reports, to not just the teeming residents of Lagos and Ogun states, but other parts of Nigeria. Core TV News is a 24-hour free-to-air, cable news channel, owned and operated by Core Media Services Ltd, with an unbeatable reach all over Nigeria and Africa, as well as parts of Europe. The TV station broadcasts as a channel on the NTA-Star Times satellite channel platform. Through that platform, their Core TV station which focuses on news, sports and documentaries, has been received in 33 states of the country. With its live streaming service on the internet, Core TV News captures high volume of viewership within the country, and beyond. Just last year, Core TV News station made its live debut in Abuja, as a newly launched digital terrestrial television, which was switched on by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, at an impressive ceremony. The production arm of Core Media Services, has worked in Nigeria, and other parts of the country for almost 10 years. They have good professionals who use high standards and techniques, to create vibrant media productions, fused with a local communications style, that can be understood and well received by the Nigerian audience. Their professional values are based on reliability, professionalism and exacting standards, that one would expect from a world class production company. From a humble background, Olajide Adeniran fought his way through different life hurdles and challenges. Many times he was knocked down, but each time, he keeps picking himself up and continued the struggle. It was at LTV that his story changed for life! As a diligent reporter, he was assigned to cover different beats and he carried out his assignment accordingly. In the course of the discharge of his duties, he was able to meet the Nigerian society bigwigs who started showing interest in him. At a time when his career was blossoming at LTV, he took the risk of resigning to float his own media firm, Core Media Services Ltd, that deals with advertising, marketing, Public Relations, media buying and other media related activities. He actually started Core Media Services, with no office, because there was no money to rent an office at that time! He normally held meetings with his team under the tree, or right inside the car! Later, he was able to raise some money and he rented an apartment at Opebi, Lagos and that’s where Core Media corporate office took off from. Today, the rest as they say, is history! 2 Likes 1 Share |
