Long story just to avoid doing a simple thing.

You do not have to believe in God before you can Show evidence for a claim you made which is that God is a human construct. Did you not k ow you did not believe in him before making the claim?

What has your claim got to do with a belief or lack of one? Your mumu is growing exponentially!

Of course God is a human construct that is why there is no God that can be shownto exist on its own without human input. If you know any God that exist on its own without human input then point to it. It shouldn't be difficult for you to do.

You keep spewing history which according to atheists can be falsified so I do not want to read your history, I want to see tangible proof that authenticated your history and not just your usual brainless rants.

What is this Olodo saying? So because History can be falsified means history is always false? Which part of the history I have presented have you falsified?

Even if you choose to focus on the Christian God then kindly show me who originated that God idea.

You no suppose dey this dense. For one who is able to rant like you do it is expected that at least you should be able to think alongside.

Even your rants are lousy so I expect no less from your thought process.

I've done that already but as the brainless teat that you are you've failed to see. The early disciples of Jesus and the early church fathers were the people that invented and founded the christian religion.

Na you make claim but na you dey run since from proving your claim. You ran until you had to say "proof of a claim does not necessarily need to follow a specific pattern" thereby defending theism instead of atheism when you atheists demand for specific proofs from theists before you believe. Do you even know how dumb that made you?

You killed atheism all alone with no help from me simply because you were desperate to run away from providing proof to your claim.

Dullardman go and sleep. Sense no fit you at all at all. Sense on you is like Eniola Badmus dressed in body hug. cheesy

At least am not a wuwuru fool like you that was busy yelling I made only one claim and I made it after you made me to make the claim. I asked you to provide evidence for your own claim and see the idoitic excuse you were giving as an excuse not to provide any claim. Anyway I don't expect anything much from an Olodo that worships his experience and delusions. The experience that you worship must truly be proud of you.

Bingo Abeg no go scatter your laptop keys Abi na your phone while ranting over something a few words which form a name and a few numbers which form a date and few images would have solved.

It's obvious you are so overloaded with hot air and just make silly claims out of the blue when you have no empirical evidence (according to atheism) to back it up with.

Isn't it a big let down that you who happens to be an atheist who always harp on evidential support could not conjour up even one to buttress your claim?

Instead you succeeded in playing advocate for atheism and theism out of desperation. You began fighting on the side of theism out of desperation cheesy cheesy

I told you before and I will say it again, turn in your brain. You are underutilising it! grin

A Plea For Help

i sincerely plead with everyone in this forum to lend a helping hand to my case, as i am broken, confused and basically at the mercy of harsh realities
i am a final year student in a state polytechnic and a freelance computer engineer which has sustained me in school since year 2 as well as enabled me contribute my quota to my family.
since the recession began my little startup has faced little or no patronage(the case with everyone) and trust me being a fighter i forged on regarless of if i had cash or was cashless.

A couple of Bad Deals and an unfortunate work related accident has left me in debt to the tune of 89,000 and i am facing deadlines which have all left me shattered and confused. i am currently afraid of my creditors meanwhile my own debtors (3 in number have either absconded from town or blocked me from reaching them)
Two of my creditors have already threatened to block me from defending my Final project and writing my exams which i have seen happen to others before. i am totally fearful of having 5 years of struggle to see myself through school destroyed by this.

i plead with anyone with a listening ear to help me with whatever amount you can, nothing is to small or to big

i know lots of people take advantage of this kind of situation to prey on people's goodwill and profit irresponsibly but i am not of that stock ( i intend to dupe or scam no one), i have never gone as far as this before but with the weight on my shoulder,my fears and the realization that no one around wants to help me, i have no choice.

i dont care if i have money to feed or in my account, i have seen worse than that but i just want to clear up this debts and have peace of mind, focus on my final exams, look for innovative means of improving my little startup and contribute meaninfully to the society without anyone breathing down my back.

Please Help in anyway. Thank you FOR YOU AUDIENCE and Godbless you.

As a christian I never knew what it meant to be an atheist. How could someone say there was no God? How can anybody say that my sweet Jesus isn't real? Never personally sat down and thought about my religious beliefs and the concept of God at all. I was indoctrinated and I believed 1000000%. I grew up in a very conservative christian home, so everything I heard and was taught were true. Never questioned them, in fact I couldn't question them. I accepted everything and it became my reality.

The first time I met an atheist was like 10 years ago in Germany. It was surreal. I thought I met the "devil". The guy was so confident and kept dismissing God as a man made imaginary idea. I was so scared of him and the words and thoughts that were coming out of his mouth. I wished God will strike him with blindness. I hated him immediately but was more scared of him. I quickly ran away after listening to him for like 15 minutes.

We meet again after some days and he was at it again. Spewing his atheistic stuff. After a while I became friends with some of the Germans and realized that most of them were irreligious/ athiest. Non of them believed in God they way I did. Even those of them that believed in God had very different conception of who and what God is to them. We discuss religion sometimes and I got to realize that most of them were the same. It didnt bother me much since they were everywhere. I just prayed and hoped that God will touch them and show them his "light". I was a bit taken aback when I met black Germans that were athiest and irreligious then, some of my lectures were black Germans and were athiest. Some few friends in school as well. For some reason I felt I could give whites a pass for being athiest and irreligious but blacks? It didn't sit well with me that blacks were also athiest/irreligious because most of them were Africans like me whose parents or grand parents were from Ghana and Cameroun but were born there. I later had to accept them because they were everywhere. Only me and my few Nigerian and other African friends belived in God in the traditional way. I later met and became friends with some American soldiers that also believed in God the way I did(Traditionally). They were stationed in the city I was studying. They had a big military base there. Those Americans soldiers were the only whites that believed in God the way I did. Most of the Germans I knew personally were either athiest/irreligious or adherents of the Grill message. Very few were traditional christians like me. The church I attended then was an African church. After a while I settled in and had to accept things the way they were.

Then came nairaland. The first thing that made me start to think about the existence of God was the constant debates btw the christians and Muslims here. There was no Islamic section then and there were also very few athiest back then . I think there were only like 5 atheist if I could remember correctly(Seun, Kag, Nnfern, Mazaje, Jagunlabi). The debates were only btw christians and Muslims and also btw catholics and anti catholic protestants. The debates were always very hot and intense. I used to read for a while before I later registered .Those debates between the muslims and Christains made me to think about God's existence for the very first time in my life. I Never knew the bible had any flaws until the muslims pointed so many of them out. I refused to accept that they were flaws, I'll rather lie to my self than accept them. The muslims also did the same. When christians point out the flaws in the Koran, they also refused to accept, they'll twist, lie and offer the fringe of all explanations in order to explain it away. It was the same thing the christians were doing. The few athiest that were here kept pointing that out.

Then later the number of athiest picked up a bit and the arguments/debates started. Athiest started creating topics instead of just chipping in when muslims and christians were on each other's necks. The debates continued and I ended up changing my mind and doing away with my childhood indoctrination.

Lool most Germans are really atheists and confident about it. I was as shocked as you were too grin

Now that the butterflyinsect is out of the way, the thread can continue...

As a teenage Christian (not really a born again just a church goer like Mr butterfly) I always thought atheist were bad people but I also found their ideas amusing.
The fact was that I always knew something was not right with the whole Religious story, but men, I was always afraid of hell.
I tried a couple of times to repent and give my life to Christ but I was the type that didn't have the skill to lie to myself and claim that Jesus whom I have never felt has entered my heart(whatever that means).
I have always found people who don't believe in God interesting, I always wanted to know what makes their blood thick, but I would ask them questions just to make them help me confirm my doubts.
The fact is that I was an atheist church goer for a long time. Pastors made it worst... They just make noise every Sunday and everybody goes home only to come back next Sunday to hear another noise.
I guess I always new I would end up an atheist. There is nothing more liberating.
