I submitted our family ds-160 online form about 10 days back and our interview is set for 11 Sept in Abuja, then I realised I filled the wrong city for hubby's city of birth.
its not the one on his passport, pls guide me what should I do?

and do I need to take my bank statement and proof of tie too even though its a family vacation and hubby is doing all the payment?

Every error in a DS 160 is treated the same way. Fill a new form and write to the embassy to swap the forms. Read the first page of this thread. It's stated there.

Statements are not asked for at the US visa interviews. If you want to carry, do so. However it will be a waste of your money

In specific, retrieve the DS 160 form and create a new application. Simply correct the error(s) on the newly created DS 160 form and submit, then go to profile section of the appointment portal and replace the old DS160 form number with the new one. Thereafter, print a new confirmation of appointment paper.

Was scheduled for 10. Got there at 8:45. Was interview at window 5 (or 4 sha) a slim Asian-looking guy. Dude has been rejecting applications before it got to my turn.
Interview goes thus;

VO: how are u
Me: I'm fine (was nervous)
VO: why are u going to the US
Me: going for a two-day training at Schaumburg
VO: oh I see, Illinois rite?
Me: yh
VO: what's the training about
Me: .......
VO: who's funding this
Me: my employer
VO: where do you work

Me: no, it's been on since march
VO: can I have docs related to the training
Me: I'm sorry I don't have any here, the docs are with the unit that handles travelling. I only hav introduction letter from my employer

Seems to me that no visa will be issued to me in the next 20 years

I'm having the same issue. Made a mistake in the ds160 form I booked with my appointment. Is it possible to make changes to the latest ds160 form I filled. Please give me the contact address to forward my complaint to. Regards

The question is not about knowing anyone but relatives in US. Relatives are blood relations or adopted such as Parents, Siblings, Uncles & Aunties, Nephews & Nieces.

There is hardly any Nigerian that doesn't know someone in USA.

He wants a free conference yet his employers are sponsoring. Interestingly, he already has a date for the unknown conference.

Credible employers have HR Units that carry out this function.

If you work as a Sales Rep, then your occupation is Sales Rep.
Oil and gas is an industry sector, not an occupation.

You obviously didn't state the correct information, except if you did not complete and submit the DS160 form within 30 days (hope I got the number of days right).
Last time I retrieved a DS160 form, I could recall stating the DS 160 confirmation number. And thereafter, the system requested for the first five letters of my surname, year of birth and answer to my security question.

Is there a visa type called conference visa? Go through the website again and see what B1/B2 covers. Conferences being one of them.
It might pay you better to check the website first for every decision you make and not depend on NL. We may mislead you here but the info on the US website is gold

Pls after someone was denied US visa, nd wanna Apply for school stuff in Canada can I change my profile for the Canada own because some of the US own wasn't correct..Will the Canada embassy know about your US profile or know if u v bin denied before?
