Story. Mumu groups everywhere. Yorubas will be in that region after October 1st and nothing will happen lol. They issued the same ultimatum last year and nothing happened The Yoruba who come from the same South as us are the major managers of the oil companies. The cabals from the Yoruba make things worse for the Niger Delta people. If you look at Mobil, Chevron, Total — almost all the major oil companies — they are being controlled by the Yoruba. But they refuse to partner with us; they refuse to work with us and they are treating us as slaves. How is it our fault that Yorubas are the ones managing the companies. These companies aren't owned by Yorubas. It's based on merit. I would have understood if Mobil, Chevron and Total were owned by Yorubas. They aren't treating you like slaves. Stop busting pipelines They help their people more than our own people. They are the ones that stopped the oil firms from relocating their headquarters to the Niger Delta. They hold the Nigerian economy to ransom. This sounds like the typical "They are the cause of all our woes" nonsense. How can Yorubas stop oil firms from relocating their headquarters? Are Yorubas the owners of the companies? You were issuing threats that they must relocate. That's not how to convince companies to listen to you. They have their headquarters in Lagos because their safety couldn't be guaranteed in the ND. Have we forgotten the whole thing about kidnapping foreign oil workers so quick? The Yoruba people have done everything possible since the Olusegun Obasanjo administration to stop other ports (other than the Lagos seaports) from functioning in Nigeria. We have seaports in Delta, Rivers and Calabar (Cross River). They are not working because of Yoruba interest. The Yoruba want everything to be in Lagos, Ogun states and the rest. Another lie based on ignorance. Almost all the ports in the ND are functioning properly. The proof is here on this thread. All the lies were busted on this thread. https://www.nairaland.com/3977374/eastern-ports-dysfunctional If the nonsense lie about Yorubas not allowing things work in other parts of the country was true, then why did Dangote leave Ondo state to site his refinery in Lagos. Is Ondo state not a Yoruba state? He didn't site it there because the communities weren't willing to co-operate with him. 224 Likes 28 Shares |

AtkinsPlanet: I didn't see oil companies all moved to Washington from Texas....Or refineries sited in Washington with pipes layed all the way from Texas...This tells you something about the crudeness of black people...especially Nigerians... 126 Likes 14 Shares |

Cooly100: Rubbish. How do you expect Dangote to site his refinery in a place where his facilities will be prone to destruction. This is business. You site your business in a safe place not where random "our oyel" people will be threatening you when things don't go their way. He won't even be getting the oil for free. He will probably still have to pay some money 159 Likes 16 Shares |

AtkinsPlanet: If you ask me...who I go come ask? I am baffled also... If you truly believe in One Nigeria of which the SS belongs why invest in laying pipes all the way to Lagos, when you could just do it in the environment where you source your material? 38 Likes 1 Share |

Why do these people even think Dangote has to get oil from ND to refine lol. Do they know there are countries that only refine oil without producing anything? Dangote doesn't really need the ND, the ND needs him because there is cheap oil everywhere these days. Emotional blackmail doesn't work when it comes to matters like this 178 Likes 21 Shares |

Let's us all start evicting each other. Na dem confuse flattttties wey dey claim "No man's land" "it belongs to benins" or "it belongs to Aworis" wey dey suit them go suffer am pass. I'm loving this! They help their people more than our own people. They are the ones that stopped the oil firms from relocating their headquarters to the Niger Delta. They [Yoruba] hold the Nigerian economy to ransom. Na wa o. I thought the Ibos claim they control Nigeria's economy or do y'all just place blames on Yorubas when it benefits you? This thread [https://www.nairaland.com/3918290/yorubas-most-industriousrichest-educated-tribe] is an eye opener. Yorubas are verrrrrrrrrrrrry successful..... in every aspect of the economy. 99 Likes 11 Shares |

Cooly100:Lagos is safer than the Niger Delta when it comes to oil matter, and Ondo is an oil producing state. Lagos has also allowed him import equipments and other materials easily because of its location, besides there are two refineries in the Niger Delta already. 50 Likes 3 Shares |
