While some parents prefer having male children to female children sighting it is easier to raise males since they don't worry about their child being chased around by men, rape (which is common with girls), buying of sanitary pads, making of hair, amongst others. Other parents believe raising female children is easier as they can be easily controlled. What's your take on this 'Boy vs girl: Who’s tougher to raise? ' |

NONE.... the bitter truth is... IT is the same nature in Both parent that the child comes into this world with, If the parents understand that then taming and controlling the BOY/GIRL child would be so easy cos A truthful honest Father and Mother can not give birth to a lying cunning child, They will only instill the same values in him UNLESS one party dies and then the balance is tilted and the UPBRINGING is deformed. BOTH..... A child's character(male & female) is the function of both parent and the environment. A child will never fail to learn from his/her parents. The environment range from : neighbor's kids, school bus, TV, classroom etc. My nephew learnt so much crap from school bus, it was tough trying to talk him off and that's a tough one I must say. 2 Likes |

it all depends on A) the type of child you got (no two children are ever the same) B) the type of parents you are. 1 Like |

your argument does not have a strong point. what parent will say he\she prefers the boy child because they don't have to worry about making the hair and buying of pads ? you said a girl is at risk of being raped and chased around by men. were this men raised rightly would they have raped and chased their counterpart? if we clamour for a stabilize society then we must raise both genders with the same doctrine ,toughness and commitment. Today, both genders are endangered with the same social vice- smoking, drinking , sexual immortality, rape , neglect ,without fear for God , parents and authority, wild parties , wrong company . poor academic performance. Raise your child well irrespective of the gender . 2 Likes |
