dste:ok.thank you.seems most schools teach in English.but should one contact a supervisor first before applying?if I may ask, like how much is the stipend per month in d scholarship.just want to know if one can be ok with it or will need to take up a part time job there. |
Re: Nigerian Students In China by dste(m): 2:21pm On Aug 22, 2017 |
there are more than one types of scholarships available in China, some provide monthly stipends while others dont, some provide very little, not even enough for transportation while some provide a lot. as for the part time job, its illegal to work while having a student visa in china if youre caught youd be fined. chaiks: |

@dste Please I need insight on this, my uncle lives in Harbin and he want me to come over and have my masters program in Chinese taught. Is this possible since I don't have HSK or basic understanding of the language |
Re: Nigerian Students In China by dste(m): 3:35am On Aug 23, 2017 |
any school offering chinese taught courses to foreigners provide a year of chinese language classes prior to starting your major. if its a scholarship offer then the fees obviously would be covered, if not youd have to pay for a year chinese classes and pass HSK 4 or 5 depending on your school. then you start your major. hardehboy: |

Daddymoski: Hi. You can do your test anywhere you decide. Just go along with the original test results and receipt of payment. I ran mine in a private hospital but got my yellow card from the hospital in a Secretariat. You'll pay for your Visa not CSC. If you're Lagos, visa application days are Tuesdays and Thursdays. JW201, Admission letter, WAEC, Degree certificates, Secondary school testimonial and statement of result, birth certificate, medical report with test reports(originals o), visa form else you'll buy it there. You can download from their website like I did. International passport, 2 passports with a white background, first degree transcript, flight booking. Originals and 1 set of photocopies. Interview days are M,W,F. Use an earlier flight booking to get an earlier interview date the following week. I was there on Tuesday. Ciao 1 Like |
