Analice spiritual growth is just like natural growth in a sense .paul didn't just take out of this people he corrected them gently and showed them where they were missing it. instead he bragged about what they did have and showed them there was more, encouraging them to go to it,go get it that it was theirs. Don't beat christians over the head he said,don't beat anyone over the head feed them find somewhere you can hook up with them don't fight other believers. Don't take anything away anything from anybody give them something put something into them. Good morning and happy Sunday people of God.

Hebrews2:1

I woke up this morning with a burden laid in my heart. After 4days of not hearing from God, neither was I inspired.I was troubled in the spirit. I noticed I've not been worshipping in the spirit.

As revealed to me in the early hours of the morning at 6:30am. I woke up to worship and as soon as I got down to pray, I sang one song, then I became silent and I went unconscious for a minute. If you were with me, you would probably think I must have slept off (it's happens like this sometimes to me) .

But my eyes were open in the spirit and I saw a woman who was troubled and battered. She had a sore on her left arm. Her name was mentioned and her problems were revealed. I was told she had been disappointed by her fiancee. He promised her marriage but he refused to fulfill it. I saw her fiance boarding a bus and he was about to flee. I asked in the spirit why she had a scar on her left arm, then I heard "they dragged and she got injured, but PRAY for SETTLEMENT and REST".

I don't know this lady, neither have I met her. But as I got up to pray n worship, the Lord put this in me. My prayer points for today changed.

'LORD GIVE YOUR PEOPLE REST'



The Lord has his people in his heart, no matter what they have done to him. His arms are wide open to receive them because he wants to give his people rest. He wants to give them rest on earth and in heaven. But their hearts must be open to receive.

I've never toyed with these word he whispered in my ears "...You must have an open heart...". Almost everyone I've met, I've told them these words.

God wants to give us rest. This rest is a promise and those who have heard and held on faithfully to this promise will acquire this rest. But those who won't be faithful but have heard of the promise , God has a surprise for them and I tell you of a truth, it's not what they wish for.

Hebrews4.
1.Therefore, since the promise of entering his rest still stands, let us be careful that none of you be found to have fallen short of it.

2.For we also have had the gospel preached to us, just as they did; but the message they heard was of no value to them, because those who heard did not combine it with faith.

3.Now we who have believed enter that rest, just as God has said, "So I declared on oath in my anger, `They shall never enter my rest.'" And yet his work has been finished since the creation of the world.


What makes a man to hold on to a promise has alot to do with his heart, no matter how fierce he is in nature,if his heart is open to that promise, he will hold on to it in belief. A promise made is either held on to in belief or rejected in disbelief. That is why our hearts need to be open to God and his promises so we will enter his rest(the kingdom) .


Jesus spoke in Mathew 18:3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

The heart of a child is always open to the voice that speaks promises. They will never reject that promise in disbelief . They always trust the credibility of the promiser. They have hope that the promise will be fulfilled when u promise them something. They hold firm to it. Never disappoint them because our GOD would never disappoint us. Even as the promise is made by God and we hold unto it, we must become sheep's unto him as we adhere to his voice so we may not drift away. (Hebrews 2:1)


Finally. God wants to give us rest and settlement also on earth in every aspect of our lives as long as we fulfill all righteousness. If the LORD says he has made us kings and priest of the earth, then we must begin to live as that . As long as you don't drift away from GOD's word, rest is certain on earth and in heaven.

Rev 5:10 Thou hast made us unto our God, KINGS and priest: and we shall reign on earth.. amen.



LORD you are worthy to receive all power, glory and honour. I ask that you give your people rest in all ramifications as much as their hearts are open and as they remain faithful to your words . Open the eyes of their hearts to see you Lord. Soften and open their hearts to hear and listen to ur voice oh Sovereign Lord. May they acquire rest on earth and in your domain. In the name of your son Jesus I pray. Amen.

Good morning and happy sunday.


I promised to share a message this weekend and then i suffered a setback this same weekend and it made me feel discouraged and i had to spend a lot of time trying to fix the damage that was done.


I was going to postpone this message for another day but after speaking to a close friend, who is also on this thread, she encouraged me to go ahead and still share my message with the thread. She too had suffered a great challenge but she still had some little strength in her to encourage me and herself.


Encouraging one another goes a long way to helping people in the slightest way you can never imagine.


When this thread started, it was all about exposing the works of darkness and bringing people to the Light of God. Today it has gotten even bigger than that. It has become a platform to inspire people and help in their spiritual walk with God in diverse ways. It has become a platform of LOVE. To God be the glory!



I long to see people discover who they are in Christ, wielding the power of God within them (via the Holy Ghost) to turn things around for themselves and for others. For people who have Jesus Christ are dangerous in this world. Satan knows that.
But Christians who have Jesus and the gift of LOVE are the most dangerous in this world. And Satan fears that!


The greatest gift isn't discernment or prophecy or faith or whatever. The greatest gift is the gift of Love. Love is the very reason we exist in the first place. Love molded us from clay, shaped us in our mother's womb and breathed life into us so that we can live. Love is God. God is love. 1 John 4:8, 1 John 4:16



A person with this LOVE in their hearts will be humble and gentle. They will mend broken hearts and restore positive emotions, bringing about healing in people's lives. When they operate strongly in the Holy Ghost, they will bring actual healing to those who are sick in one way or the other



I dedicate this message to that one person that gave me the encouragement i needed this morning to speak on this, despite the strong challenge(s) she faced. Thank you Bootsiegal. May the Love of God in your heart endure till the very end. Amen.


Recently, just about 5 days ago God showed me a man who's a neighbour of mine. God told me what evil the man was committing in secret and He told me He was going to take the man's life. And when He took his life in that dream, the man's wife turned evil and allowed demons enter into her life. She became worse than her husband, her heart became very hardened.



When i woke up, i didn't care about praying for this man. I felt a bit of anger instead because this man had been working against me based on the information i had been giving him. And so i didn't pray for him, i didn't bother.



Two days later, i was moved to share the dream with an uncle of mine who also knows this man, and when he heard the dream he felt sober and said 'I hope he doesn't die because i wonder how his wife and kids would live without him'.


When i heard that i became sad and felt a pinch of guilt, it dawned on me that i had been selfish because i knew if i asked God to show this man mercy and give him another chance to repent, God would answer my prayers. Maybe that was the very reason God showed me that dream. Maybe He wanted me to pray for this man and not act like the prophet Jonah.


It made me understand why Jesus said we should love our enemies. Matthew 5: 43-48
Sometimes we cannot stand them because of the evil they do against us but we just have to pray for them that God change their hearts and give them the grace to repent. That is LOVE. That is a great gift. The greatest gift.
If they don't repent after God's period of grace expires, then God will judge them accordingly.



Truth be told, when i want to share a message on the thread i do not even know what to speak on, i only ask God and He might speak directly to me there and then or i might just have to wait for Him to answer. Sometimes God would tell me that He will give me a message to share with you guys and then i go on to let you guys know. Then i will have to wait for Him to give me the message.


I had been waiting for His current message, but it seemed like He had been speaking already on this topic of LOVE, but i might have been too distracted to hear Him. He used some people like my uncle to reiterate that, i still didn't hear, and then He used a friend and now Bootsiegal just this morning. And then it struck me. I come on the thread and i see muehonyx22 talking about LOVE. Wow. It's amazing how God speaks. He speaks all the time but we are either too distracted to understand or realize when He is speaking.



The gift of Love is in conjunction with benevolence and Healing. People with this gift will be able to give freely, heal broken hearts, and minds. Love is powerful. It is a binding force that keeps people close to one another. Love for each other and for God has kept us together in unity on this thread. Even though we might have our fights and arguments some times like families do, we always pat each other on the back afterwards. It happened between i and vooke, and some others have experienced this with one another on this thread. But i'm glad love changed all of that and kept us strong.



I love everyone of you here from the depths of my heart. Let no one think otherwise. We are all different in character and have different degrees of understanding, i expect little arguments to occur but i prefer more for love to sum it all
Let us encourage one another and build each other up in love. 1 Thessalonians 5:11, Romans 14:19.



Love is the greatest gift. Keep showing love. You're healing people when you encourage them, or forgive them, or help them solve certain needs if you can, and love them when they insult you. When you grow in love, you'll be favoured by God and men.
I have seen certain moments of fights and arguments when only few words can shut up the entire argument.

Words like "I'm sorry", and "You're right I was wrong" really go a long way.



And i've had times when i'm so depressed then someone says a little word on this thread that takes away all that depression from me. Sometimes satan comes to threaten me directly and attacks me in some areas of my life to make me feel depressed. But thank God for all the love here, i always feel refreshed.



And so...continuing my dream


I prayed for this neighbour of mine and i immediately felt a kind of peace in my heart. Peace that i cannot explain. Love brings peace and happiness. When you can show love even to your enemies, you render them defenseless. They wouldn't be able to understand.


This experience makes me laugh when i think about it but i'll share it.

I remember when i was in boarding school, i was sleeping one night when i saw in my sleep, water pouring all over my face, it felt like someone left a tap on with running water pouring all over my face, just to realize that this running water was actually pee (urine) pouring all over my face in the physical.
The guy sleeping on the top bunk bed had wet his bed and now his urine was dripping all over my face, so fast like running water. lol.


I was very furious, i got up and slapped the boy very hard, several times. This guy had messed up my clothes and my own bed. Where was i going to get a change of night clothes and another bed to sleep on in the middle of the night?


Anyway, the boy pleaded with me severely, but i pushed him aside. I treated him badly, hated him and didn't wish to speak with him no more!


The next two days or thereabout, i fell sick and there was no one to help me with a single thing. i was weak and hungry and no one gave me a thing, i was even broke. But this boy came to me and offered me oranges, he offered to help me with whatever i wanted and he even gave me some money.


When he did that, i remembered how badly i had treated him. I tried to act tough but i couldn't fight back the tears that had swelled up in my eyes. Tears began to drip from my eyes. I cried. I was defenseless. How could a person still be kind to another that had treated them so badly?


How could Jesus still say 'Father forgive them for they don't know what they're doing' even while He was being crucified by the same people that hated Him?

How could Abraham still go fight and rescue Lot after Lot disrespected him?


How could Joseph still forgive his brothers after they hated him and sold him to slavery?


How could Esau still forgive Jacob after he deceived him and stole his blessings?


And


How can God keep forgiving us each day for all the wrong we do against Him?

In one word, the answer to all these is LOVE.


LOVE is the greatest gift. LOVE resides in the greatest hearts and minds. The greatest of all are people with love in their hearts like little children. We ought to desire this gift. For if we have this gift, we can conquer all. Matthew 18:3-4.


Love your enemies. Love your neighbour like yourself. Love your Father and Mother whether they are good or evil. Love and forgive those that have wronged you. Love the people of God. And Love God your Father. Mark 12:30-31, Luke 6:27-36, Matthew 19:19.



May the Love of God that surpasses all human understanding embrace our hearts and minds. Ephesians 3:19. Amen


May this message bring healing and mend broken hearts. Amen.


Forgive one another. Pray for one another. Encourage one another. And God's love will never cease in your life.

I find it difficult to pray most times, I don't fast because it don't work for me. I find it difficult to good to bed most times because I am scared of nightmare, at times I find myself singing praise to God in my dream I continue the song till I wake but I can not remember the music again the moment my eyes are clear. so many troubling dreams, I do fly constantly in my dreams and if I wake up I feel dizzy before my accident. in some occasion I see myself in a strange land, some cases I find myself in cemetery battling with spirit. God have never deny me what I have ask of Him, many at times i fall into trouble I create myself if I run to him, He do work it out how I demanded it from Him. all these make my mind to be troubled. some of your assertions here are wrong/not clear... most of us are too 'lazy' to pray through and not that the battles don't... we have casualties mostly because we still have sin, fear, absence of faith etc

don't wait for evil to manifest before you pray, be proactive, BTW one doesn't just jump into prayers, you need to spend quality time in praising and worshipping God.

Everyone is a sinner, everyone is full of iniquity. But then, the bible says when we were yet sinners Christ died for us.. Even before you became a sinner the blood has been available for use, But that does not mean we should take if for granted.

Hi everyone, so I have issues with some things... I got rid of all my wordly songs movies,series and football matches but my teacher says there is nothing wrong with watching them as long as I have a good relationship with God.that I just need to find time To balance the two I told him that God said we Should not love and get carried away with things of The world, but my teacher said that even if we woship God we are still in the world and it is normal for us to do this things as long as we don't let it affect us. So on friday night, when he invited me to watch a football match with him I said no and he said there is nothing evil or Harmful In watching it and I told him no, that this is the same club I supported for 5 years now, I was obsessed with the club and addicted to its players when they lose I will feel depressed, angry and sometimes I even missed school(yeah it was that bad)they took most of my time and I gained absolutely nothing from it.and now I have stopped following them but he says It normal that I was just a kid and a football fan that there is no need to run from It, that with time I will outgrow It,that as long as I am not doing something evil that God won't mind that he won't Mind if I took time off him to be a part of something as long as it Isn't bad. I didn't follow him but he left me really confused. is It okay to watch or listen bad things in the entertainment industry like action movies with lots of stealing, Murder, and shootings as long. Your teacher is right BUT, there is a balance.

All things are lawful but not all things are expedient the Bible says...there are some things that as Christians we sacrifice for the sake of our spiritual life.

I do watch movies for instance, but I know my limits. I would not deliberately watch a movie that has erotic contents. Some horror movies are demon distributors so , I am careful what I watch. The same thing with secular music. There are some that I consider as neutral eg Asa`s jazz compilations but as a rule, I will not deliberately indulge myself in any.

There was a time I sacrificed my ELECTRONICS for the sake of time with God.. It was taking so much of my time at Gods expence.

The same could apply to your Football.

Hi everyone, so I have questions to ask,thank you.so is it every christian must go through warfare like the supernatural ones of fighting demons witches and forces of the Dark or it is only for the ones called to the deliverance ministry with the gift of discernment I heard and read that there are some christians that they attack because they serve God. But they don't attack them head on, that they just attacked some areas, like they attack them financialy,in their relationships, and mentally but the ones who are in the deliverance and intercession department are usually attacked physically, spiritually, in the dream, and sometimes they appear and threaten them pls how true is this? Another one is about rapture it is said that those who endure for God and does not collect the mark of the beast during the time of the antichrist will find favour In Gods eyes. but when rapture comes all the saints will go to heaven right? So will some christians be left behind or are they talking about the ones that will repent and give their lives to christ after rapture.but it is said that after rapture the spirit of God will leave the earth and the antichrist will dominate and they will torture people who does not receive the mark until they do. so how will they endure the antichrist and preach the word when the spirit of God has Left the earth. pls kindly shed some light on this.@Nnamdiosu tjayjosh NnaNna4 and the reamaining blessed people of this thread. You have asked two questions
1. Every and All Christians can conduct deliverance (even a baby Christian under guidance). It is a question of your faith, like, do you believe you have been empowered by Christ to do it!

It helps to be under the tutilage of someone who is experienced in the ministry of deliverance.

Now, about attacks: demons cannot attack a person conducting deliverance because you are surrounded by and protected by Gods Angels. They will try though..

There are some exceptions however
i. If there is unconfessed deliberate sin
ii. If a Christian conducting deliverance is still demonized himself.

2. On rapture:
It looks like some "Christians" will miss rapture and some non Christians will adopt the gospel after rapture. But they will be tortured for their faith and all of them will be slaughtered by the agents of the Antichrist. Many will give up because of the unbearable pain, hunger and torture.

Pray not to be around then!

I will do as you have said.fear is a very big weakness of mine, I couldn't sleep yesteday night it was dark and I was scared.I held a bible to my chest for comfort and I tried calling my sunday school teacher but he wasn't available. when I was typing this in the early hours of the morning I hid the phone under my bible beacause I thought they will be reading it .I wanted to watch movies or football highlights online then I remembered john saying that, it is impossible for christians who have seen the glory of God to deny christ and enter heaven. I not a strong christian yet and even though I have not seen God in his full glory yet,I realised that I was about to slip back to old habits just because I was afraid and even with how great my fear was I wasn't ready to do that, because I knew God will be dissapointed with me. people have faced much worse, and they still worship God in spirit and in truth, and here was I behaving like a weakling because of the dark. so I got up and played a gospel song till I could fall asleep and I did. thank you all for your help you have been really great, I will get ignorant about the forces of the dark for now and try to know and get closer to God.thank you all once again @nnamdiosu tjayjosh 701ecilana proccessor01 NnaNna4 and the remaining wonderful people of this thread.stay blessed.I guess I could use this................sorry I know it is almost afternoon.

..have you not read, "He will bid His Angels charge over you". Justvas you have demons around, you have more powerful Angels around you.

Pray like this:
I cover my Spirit, Soul and Body with the Light and Fire of God.
Oh God, let you Judgement fall upon any Demon or Unclean spirit interested in my case.
Every weapon of the enemy against my Life in the Name of Jesus Christ bumerrang.

Etc.

Relax and trust God to fulfill your words because you have spoken as a Prince/Princess of God.

@NnaNna4 and 701ecilana, thank you I will do that. I will have and speak the word in my heart and with my mouth. I want to ask, the people who prophesy, are they usually possessed by the holy spirit or angels with a message?

Prophecies can come from many sources
1. The Holy Spirit
2. Mans Spirit
3. Demon spirit
4. Fleshly desires

We are comnanted not to trust just any prophecy but to judge by the Scriptures and the Holy Spirit if they are from God.

I think it a gift from God and regardless of whatever sin you may commit it is still for you, but my teacher. Says otherwise. And pls does anyone here read rebecca brown books are they real? I wanted to read one of her books(he came to set the captives free) a book about the occult,demons, and how they operate. but I saw so many articles criticising the Book saying it is over the top and exaggerated and calling it a lie and some saying it is real and people are just or just want to be ignorant of the supernatural.I am really torn I am curious to know and read the book and at the same time I don't want it to mess up my head.thank you.

The gifts and the calling of God are without repentance. God doesn't take away a gift because of sin (Remember Samson in the Bible...).
However, a person operating strongly in a particular gift is not a confirmation of his spirituality. We have to be careful as Christians not to be among the ones to who will say to Jesus "In Your Name we healed the sick....".

A gift grow with use...disuse is the only thing that reduces it.

Rebecca Browns books are her own experience. It may not be typical of all Christian experiences. The books had inspired me. But like I said, her books are Chronicles of her experience. For most Christians, there experience differ

Hi its me........again sorry if it looks like I am just putting my problem and not actually contributing. To the thread I didn't mean it that way. @analice and others pls how do you stop someone from a habit or an addiction like gambling. a family member asked from my phone to place a bet I gave him my phone, but I politely told him it was wrong and he screamed at me, he is significantly older than me(I am in my mid-teens) and I notice people take my age as an excuse not to listen, they feel I am too young and not exposed. pls how do I go about this? Another Thing I noticed is since I came closer to God I wake up in the middle of the night and I start singing all sorts of songs of praises in the night,most times I am very scared of the dark cause I think I will see demons but when I think like that nepa always bring the light I get the feeling God protects me everynight. Another thing I want to ask is that,is making a fleece with God wrong that is asking God for something or a favour and promising to do something in return I just wrote my waec and I promised God that if it is good I will give a testimony in church(even though I am not fluent in yoruba) in one of kenneth hagins books he says if you do that you can be forcing God's hand and not acually wait for his given time. Was I wrong? Am I forcing God's hand by making a fleece with him out of despiration to have a good result? Another question: is it compulsory for every born again christian to go through a deliverance session? And they say there is a third eye in our forehead that helps us to see the spiritual realm is it of God or of the devil. As you mature more in Faith, you will discover that God is not moved by your promises of what you will do but of Your Faith in Him.

God wants people who will love and trust him in riches/poverty, in sickness/health, in joy/sadness etc.

It is not wrong to make a vow to God if......but suppose God doesn't do what you want, will you turn your back on Him

Will you say "All things (good or bad) work together for good to them who love God and are called according to His purpose.

I appreciate all the love, care and advise shown to me. I have learnt a lot, I would have been better than this if I new this forum all this while

some months after I was discharged from the hospital, because I suffer four fraction of both legs; tibia and femur. then I can only manage to stand up. I slept that night, In my dream I was carrying out deliverance on two mad persons, one a male the other a female. I was able to deliver the male but the female, i order the people holding her to let her be but instead she held me on my left leg and bite me on my hill, then I woke up to feel a very strong ache on that part. though I have an injury there that was not disturbing me before then on that spot,I breathing hard as if it happen in real life. in one of my dreams some few days ago, I was carrying out deliverance, speaking in tongues when the lady I was delivering attacked me, she didn't succeed. she then behave as if all is well then attack me from there, I couldn't even voice out the name of Jesus. she started attacking me until I defended myself and I woke up with fear. because it was just as if it was real.

hi Doug, so I don't know much about spiritual warfare but I can say that Jesus has won the battle over the devil and all rulers of darkness you just need to be born again and exercise your authority in Christ Jesus over them. this is not a physical battle so pray fervently in the spirit and meditate on the word of God and anytime you get scared meditate on psalm:41 and psalm:46. that's the little I know.
